Agreement <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff is recommending the City Commission approve the attached <br />Resolution. <br />REASONS: <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach wishes to approve a Sixth Amendment <br />to the Agreement with Perkins & Will Architects, Inc. for architectural <br />design services for the pedestrian overpass bridge located at 18080 <br />Collins Avenue. <br />Based on the feedback from both Florida Department of <br />Transportation ('FDOT') and Peer Review Engineer, a 'Maintenance of <br />Traffic Plan' must be developed prior to selection of contractor. <br />Therefore, additional services, pursuant to Section 1.3 of the <br />Agreement, Staff wishes amend Article 3 of the Agreement <br />('Architect's Basic Services') to include the development of a <br />Maintenance and protection of Traffic Plans ("MOT") as requested by <br />FDOT.
