NV A la� HASKELL April 20, 2021 Project: Norwegian Cruise Lines Terminal B at PortMiami RE: Letter of Recommendation for Hypower. To whom it may concern: The NV2A-Haskell JV, as the Construction Manager at Risk on the Norwegian Cruise Lines Terminal B at PortMiami engaged Hypower as the turnkey electrical, fire alarm, and low voltage subcontractor for this signature project. The Norwegian Cruise Lines Terminal B at PortMiami was a unique and complicated cruise terminal project, where the progressive completion of the design and fast-track nature of the schedule required that key subcontractors such as Hypower engaged in "Design -Assist" activities. These consisted in workshops and constant collaboration of Hypower with the CM, Owner and Designers to identify efficient design alternatives for the project. This process resulted in many Owner - requested changes and upgrades along the way, which Hypower handled in stride, working towards the most cost-effective solutions. Adam Johnson and Raul Gonzalez were outstanding leaders for Hypower on the job and were committed to the success of not just Hypower, but the entire project team. They helped drive the schedule and were always proactive and solution oriented. Their leadership and professional approach to management and this project were second to none. Their team successfully managed over 70 electricians, plus subcontractors, keeping them safe and productive, all while ensuring delivery of a high-quality installation. Of special mention is the fact that the completion of the project occurred during the most difficult days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Hypower was a solid team -player in the field and shared our relentless commitment to the Safety of all personnel at Terminal B, as well as the progression and completion of the work. The project was delivered on time and on budget. The Owner is very satisfied with Hypower's performance and as the CM at Risk, so are we. We would highly recommend Hypower and their team for any project.
