(AshBritt) is a national leader in disaster response and recovery services in terms of experience, <br />quality of service, technological and operational innovation and financial strength. AshBrin is exclusively a <br />disaster recovery contractor. This is our sole business function and we bring the best recovery solutions to the <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach as we are focused on preparation and response 365 days per year. We maintain the <br />highest levels of safety, quality and integrity in conducting all of our services and operations. In support of past <br />events we have always met or exceeded small business requirements. While achieving our small business goals <br />we have always maintained a disciplined subcontract management process. These values translate into superior <br />solutions, cost savings, timely performance and tremendous value for our clients. <br />Since our inception in 1992, we have conducted 217 disaster projects and 29 special <br />environmental projects of various sizes, successfully serving more than 500 clients. <br />We have been directly involved in the debris recovery efforts of 44 federally declared disasters in 18 states, <br />beginning with Hurricane Andrew in South Florida. AshBritt has collected 51,667,654 cubic yards of disaster <br />related debris since our inception. We are the leader in the disaster response and recovery industry. <br />All told, AshBritt has collected, recycled, and disposed of more than 131,000,000 cubic yards of i <br />debris. In the last 5 years, no firm has collected more debris than AshBritt. <br />Our Detailed Disaster Response & Recovery Experience Table included in Tab 4 clearly illustrates our broad and <br />extensive past performance record. The table includes project summaries for each disaster related contract, as <br />well as all relevant project data, performance periods and contract information. AshBritt has successfully <br />Aft responded to a myriad of event types - hurricanes, tornados, tropical storms, floods, snowstorms, earthquakes, <br />wildfires, and severe ice storms. In 2004 and 2005 alone, AshBritt hauled over 1,280,000 truck loads of disaster - <br />generated debris, totaling over 37,000,000 cubic yards. Moreover, after the reduction of collected debris (by <br />various methods), we lawfully disposed of 10,600,000 cubic yards, a large portion of which was diverted for <br />beneficial use in agronomic, power generation, and other land use <br />applications. We <br />assisted 43 clients, handling, processing and disposing of almost 4,000,000 cubic yards of vegetative debris. <br />Additionally in 2011, we were activated in Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut, and <br />Massachusetts assisting multiple clients following Hurricane Irene and the Eastern U.S. tornado outbreaks. In <br />2010, we provided integral mitigation services to Mississippi and multiple Florida clients in response to the <br />Deepwater Horizon oil spill. We similarly mobilized significant equipment and manpower to Maryland and <br />Virginia following the early 2010 Mid - Atlantic snowstorm. In February, March, and part of April this year, we <br />conducted debris operations in Augusta Georgia and five counties in South Carolina impacted by Winter Ice Storm <br />Pax. <br />For the purpose of our future disaster response and recovery abilities, what is of utmost importance is that our <br />extensive past experience has created an abundance of knowledge, lessons leamed and expertise for our principals, <br />40 managers, personnel and subcontracting partners. This knowledge and expertise comprises an important balance <br />of education, professional training and real -world practical experience.
