He sets the vision for the <br />organization through constant insight, research, and analysis of the technical, operational, and political <br />environments comprising the disaster industry. Highly qualified and experienced in all phases of disaster <br />response and recovery operations from his years of practical, hands -on, real -world experience. He has an <br />encyclopedic knowledge regarding all response measures, damage assessment, debris collection, <br />removal, reduction, recycling, and disposal activities. Moreover, he is a deft communicator who can assist <br />high -level stakeholders with the public information demands during major disaster events. <br />Select Projects <br />Winter Ice Storm Pax, Feb. 2014, Georgia and South Carolina <br />Provided disaster recovery services to 6 clients throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Collected <br />reduced and disposed of almost 1 million cubic yards of vegetative debris following Winter Ice Storm <br />Pax. <br />Hurricane Sandy, Oct. 2012 — States of Connecticut and New Jersey <br />Operations Manager for multiple jurisdictions in the States of New Jersey and Connecticut. 63 <br />municipalities and the two state governments were supported in all. <br />Connecticut Severe Storm, Oct. 2011 — States of Connecticut and Massachusetts <br />Operations Manager for 18 municipalities at the CT DOT in Connecticut and 20 municipalities in <br />Massachusetts. Collected reduced and disposed of almost 4 million cubic yards of vegetative debris. <br />BP Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill, 2010 — States of Mississippi and Florida <br />Operations Manager for the entire project, supporting multiple jurisdictions in Mississippi and Florida. <br />Managed oil spill recovery and skimmer vessels utilizing local fishing captains and mates to operate the <br />fleet for the oil recovery mission. <br />Hurricane Ike, Sept. 2008 — Southeast TX <br />Directed company operations for 12 municipalities in Southeast Texas. Building restoration and ancillary <br />services provided in addition to debris removal services. <br />Hurricane Dolly, July 2008 — Hidalgo County, TX <br />Directed company operations in support of Hidalgo County. Extensive requirements for water relocation <br />equipment including pumps and vacuum trucks. Removed in excess of 600,000 cubic yards of debris. <br />Hurricane Katrina, Aug. 2005 — States of Mississippi and Louisiana <br />Directed company operations in both states as part of the USACE contract. Removed in excess of 21 <br />million cubic yards of disaster debris. Largest single mission by a contractor. Primary liaison with <br />government officials. <br />Hurricane Wilma, Oct. 2005, State of Florida <br />Provided disaster recovery services to 22 clients in South Florida. Managed allocated and negotiated with <br />subcontractors and final disposal sites to the benefit of our clients. Operations included right of way debris <br />removal DMS site management, debris recycling and disposal. Additional services included waterway <br />debris removal and supplied ancillary services including generators, fuel and restoration services. <br />Hurricane Ivan, Sept. 2004, Escambia County, FL <br />Led efforts to clear roadways and commence the debris removal operations. Liaison with <br />Government officials. Removed in excess of two million cubic yards of vegetation and C &D. Removed <br />disaster debris from three waterways. <br />Hurricane Charley, Aug. 2004, Charlotte County, FL; Cite of Orlando, FL; Orange County, FL <br />Overall leadership of collection, transportation, and disposal of vegetative and construction & demolition <br />debris. Liaison with government officials. Processed over 1,250,000 cubic yards of vegetative waste <br />while compacting and reducing over 650,000 cubic yards of construction & demolition debris.
