Our team members were required to provide a site visit and evaluate the following building systems; Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems, Plumbing Systems, Fire Protection Systems, Low Voltage Systems. After the evaluation, our team provided a report of findings such as the general condition, MEP engineer’s opinion of overall serviceability and longevity as well as our recommendation for remedial repair or a completed replacement of the systems and a probable cost estimate. Our team members provided a site visit to the library and evaluate the following systems; Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems, Plumbing Systems, Fire Protection Systems, Low Voltage Systems. After the evaluation, our team provided a report of our findings such as the general condition, MEP engineer’s opinion of overall serviceability and longevity as well as our recommendation for remedial repair or a completed replacement of the systems and a probable cost estimate. The report determined that the telecommunication cabling has been run as needed over the years but is inadequate for current needs. The Youth areas, stacks, community meeting room and staff areas are all inadequate and a new building has been determined as the best possible outcome for the district. The report was provided to the Owner; and led the team to move forward with a new job order from the Owner to renovate the existing space into a Readiness Center for the US National Guard; which OCI is currently designing the new replacement systems for the project.
