BUDGET / SCHEDULE / QAQC
Our team’s philosophy is that, as Sunny Isles Beach's prime planning professional for the project, we
are the guardians of the tax payer’s dollars. We therefore must manage the project finances in the
utmost responsible manner, as tools of cost containment are a part of our fiscal obligation. ADG will
work closely with the city's project manager during the planning phases to accurately project costs,
taking into consideration the limitations of the site. Scheduling is a priority. Project work elements
are organized into sections, which are necessary to clarify the critical path elements that maintain
schedule compliance. We document, review, and update our schedule at each team meeting.
QAQC procedures to keep the project on track include: project reporting, accountability of the
design team, and a clear path of communication with the city’s project manager must be established
from the outset of project services. Our staff has numerous years of experience working as a team
to produce preliminary design sketches, 3-D models, construction documents, and other design data
quickly and accurately. We understand that paying close attention to the details and being proactive in identification of issues, with
concise and timely resolution, is key. Additionally, plans and specifications will undergo our team's quality control review process
which involves a comprehensive review by separate architects and engineers who are senior within our team.
Our team has a proven track record of success in delivering projects within the owner’s budget and schedule parameters. All team
members have reviewed the proposed schedule, along with their current and anticipated workloads, and see no issues in providing
timely services for this project. Our team is ready to start working on this project immediately after selection and is prepared to meet
the city’s schedule and budget goals. A comprehensive, detailed schedule is very important to the success of any project. Below is
a graphic representation of the timeline and phases for the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department Facility Needs Assessment, which
will serve as a starting point to finalizing the project schedule with your team. We will work hand-in-hand with the city to establish
a project timeline that meets the needs of the city, public safety department, project stakeholders, as well as the Sunny Isles Beach
community.
PROJECT CONTROLS
BudgetSche
d
u
l
eQualit y C ontrolPROJECT ACHIEVEMENT
SPATIAL NEEDS ASSESSMENT - 2-4 MONTHS
Kick Off Meeting
•Review Project
Scope
•Review Schedule
Spatial Needs
Assessment
•Programming
•Staff
Questionnaires
•Site Information
Site Identification &
Analysis
•Vehicle Access
•Circulation
•Review and
Confirm
•Regulatory
Requirements
Community
Outreach
Opportunities
•Community
Meetings
•Project Webpage
•Direct Mailers
Identify Potential
Grant Opportunities
•Public Safety
Funding
Opportunities
•Fitness Equipment
Funding
Opportunities
•Additional Grant
Opportunities
15
