He has dedicated his entire career to <br />the planning and design of law enforcement and public safety facilities. He has designed over 8 Million square feet of public <br />safety space. Ian is an expert in CALEA, CFA, CPTED and IACP Design Standards and has assisted many agencies in complying <br />with this important accreditation through facility design. Mr. Reeves will be involved throughout the entire project and will lead in <br />implementing the project’s scope and goals. He has been successful in helping our clients receive millions of dollars in funding, <br />through local, state, and federal grants, FEMA Hazardous Mitigation Grant (HMGP), bond issues, and reallocation of revenue funds. <br />19. The building features a community meeting room for up to 320 people, a 4,500-SF <br />gymnasium, and over 35,000 SF of office space for every bureau within the police department. The new 100,755-SF headquarters provides the police department with state-of-the-art <br />facilities for their 345 employees and includes areas for administration, patrol, investigative services, professional standards, <br />communications, property and evidence, holding and processing labs, and a multitude of training facilities outfitted with the <br />necessary technology to be easily converted to the city’s emergency operations center. Prior to working with the city and police department on the new headquarters design, ADG was contracted by the City of <br />Palmetto to determine the current and future growth needs to accommodate a modern police facility, including 911 dispatch. The <br />culmination of this effort resulted in the spatial needs assessment prepared in 2018.24
