45 fire department staff will also be included in the new facility. <br />Cheyenne and Laramie <br />County Public Safety Facility <br />ADG provided the City of <br />Cheyenne and Laramie <br />County with a detailed space <br />needs study that examines <br />four elements; the Cheyenne <br />Police Department, the <br />Laramie County Office of <br />Emergency Management, the Cheyenne Fire Administration, <br />and the Cheyenne/Laramie County Combined 911 Dispatch. <br />ADG examined several potential sites and evaluated each one <br />to develop options for the future facility. Preliminary estimates <br />suggest a new combined facility would be between 50,000 and <br />60,000 SF. <br />Columbia Police <br />Department <br />ADG conducted a department <br />wide spatial needs <br />assessment of the Columbia <br />Police department, which <br />is located in 15 different <br />structures across the city. <br />With money from HUD, the city <br />purchased property on Busby Street with the intention of locating <br />a community and training facility there along with elements of the <br />police department. Part of this study determined which elements <br />of the police department will be moved to the new facility. After <br />the spatial needs was qualified, ADG created a master plan for the <br />new facility. <br />Northglenn Police, Courts, <br />and City Hall Complex Pre- <br />Design <br />ADG completed a needs <br />assessment, campus master <br />plan, and conceptual design <br />for the 13.58-acre site that is <br />the current location of the city <br />hall and police department <br />in the City of Northglenn. The expansion and relocation of both <br />facilities on the same site required a multi-phased approach, <br />which will ultimately include an additional municipal courts <br />component. The project is divided into three separate phases to <br />allow all the existing facilities to remain fully functional during the <br />entire construction process. <br />Wells Public Safety Facility <br />As the Specialty Design Architect, ADG joined the Town of Wells in <br />their mission to re-create their town center with a new public safety <br />facility incorporating their police, fire, and ambulatory services. <br />Combining a new fire department central station and ambulatory <br />response unit placed the <br />community’s comprehensive <br />safety services onto one <br />central campus. Also included <br />was the consolidation of two <br />fire sub-stations into one <br />station strategically located <br />to minimize fire a ambulatory <br />response time. <br />River Vale Police <br />Headquarters Needs <br />Assessment <br />As the Specialty Design <br />Architect, ADG was selected <br />to perform a comprehensive <br />space planning analysis of <br />current and future space <br />needs of the Township of <br />River Vale Police Department, with a recommendation for space <br />allocation, site analysis, development options, and cost estimates. <br />The current police headquarters has reached its operational <br />lifespan and is no longer sufficient for department operations and <br />capabilities. ADG’s comprehensive planning analysis will give the <br />Town the tools to move forward with a well planned project. The <br />new headquarters will be designed to meet the needs of the River <br />Vale Police Department for the next 25 years. <br />Tybee Island Public Safety <br />Facility Pre-Design <br />The Town of Tybee Island <br />selected ADG to provide <br />a detailed spatial needs <br />analysis of the needs of <br />the police department, the <br />municipal courts, and the <br />fire department. Critical to <br />this process was an analysis of potential sites on the island to <br />accommodate the needs of the police department and associated <br />judicial facility, as their facilities were inadequate in terms of size <br />and lacked an ability to be survivable. Preliminary master plans <br />were developed for two sites and were part of the presentation <br />to the Town Council, accompanied by the recommendations as to <br />facility size, location, and project budget. <br />Alpharetta Public Safety <br />Facility <br />ADG, in association with a local <br />architect, was hired to perform <br />a spatial needs assessment <br />and building program for <br />the Alpharetta Department <br />of Public Safety (ADPS).
