The current location is part of a renovated municipal <br />complex that includes the city hall. <br />Cedar Park Police <br />Renovation <br />ADG provided the City of Cedar <br />Park with a spatial needs <br />assessment, master planning, <br />design, and construction <br />administration assistance for <br />an addition and renovation <br />to their current police <br />headquarters. This project <br />consisted of an 11,000-SF expansion to the existing police facility <br />for patrol, animal control, neighborhood enforcement team, <br />narcotics and professional standards. The vacated areas in the <br />existing facility were renovated for CID and training. The previously <br />closed holding facility was converted to evidence areas and the <br />former sallyport was enclosed to become a vehicular evidence <br />processing room. The study and project was completed on- <br />budget and on-time. <br />Mansfield Public Safety & <br />Training Facility <br />The spatial needs study and <br />master plan for this vibrant <br />growing community looked <br />at the 20-year needs of the <br />police department and how <br />to best use newly acquired <br />property. The chosen option <br />will be a 64,000-SF new police <br />facility and a multi-building training facility shared by the police <br />and fire department. The police building will be on axis with the <br />new gateway boulevard into the city from the freeway and set <br />the tone for development in the area. The study was completed <br />on-budget and on-time. <br />Boca Raton Multiple Public <br />Safety Facilities <br />ADG was selected to provide <br />an existing facility evaluation <br />study, spatial needs <br />assessment, master planning, <br />conceptual design, and full <br />design services for several <br />facilities which house the <br />Boca Raton public safety operations. Components to this multi- <br />phase / multi-building project include: <br />Police / Fire Public Safety Building <br />• Relation of administration and one patrol district to a <br />new site <br />• Renovation of the 115,000-SF building <br />• New booking and intake facility including detention <br />• New crime lab facilities <br />• Build-out of second floor shell space for future use <br />• Additional 135 parking spaces, which will include space <br />for the special operations vehicles <br />Firearms Range / Training Center <br />• Design of a new firing range and training center at <br />Countess DeHornle Park <br />• 10-lane, 25-meter pistol range <br />• At least one 100-meter rifle range <br />• Reconfigurable shoot house <br />• Vehicular Training track with interchangeable <br />obstructions <br />• Space for the EOD / organized crime unit and K-9 units to <br />conduct training scenarios outside <br />• New kennel facility <br />Existing Police Headquarters / Operations <br />• Development of a police sub-station <br />• Relocate property and evidence storage into the soon <br />to be vacated firing range building at the existing police <br />headquarters <br />• Construction of 3 to 5 new sound proof secure interview <br />rooms <br />• Expand crime scene lab facilities <br />St. Louis County Police <br />Department Substations <br />Architects Design Group, <br />in association with a local <br />architecture firm, has been <br />hired to provide a prototype <br />design for various precincts <br />within the county, as the <br />current facilities are aged and need to accommodate new <br />workflow, technology and increased staff. The new stations <br />are one-story, approximately 15,000 SF in size on sites ranging <br />between 4 and 6 acres. Program elements include: public entry <br />and community room, booking and intake, interview spaces, <br />uniform patrol, police administration, sally port functions and <br />misc. storage, physical agility, locker and toilet room facilities. <br />The facilities are being designed to expand as the need arises for <br />additional uniform patrol personnel. These facilities are secured <br />facilities, which includes access control systems, CCTV and a <br />limited amount of a/v systems and components. Sites are divided <br />into public access areas, secure staff areas, and stormwater <br />retention and setback buffers.
