The <br />goal was to create a space that could <br />provide premier customer service to the <br />community while also meeting the needs <br />of efficient courtroom spaces and secure <br />circulations paths for the public, judges <br />and prisoners. Specific security needs <br />of the Sheriff’s Headquarters were taken <br />into consideration to provide a space <br />that addressed their unique needs and <br />requirements. <br />An additional component of the project <br />addressed the community’s concerns for <br />proper storm water runoff into the nearby <br />Gill’s Creek Watershed. By incorporating <br />creative solutions, these needs were <br />met while also using it as an educational <br />opportunity for the area. Display signage <br />is featured on the property as a tool <br />for communicating the underground <br />materials and systems and how they <br />function.
