Palm Beach County's 39th City was incorporated on June 20, 2016. The 38,000 acres of mostly <br />vacant, previously agricultural land in western Palm Beach County will be the site of 4,500 homes <br />and 2.2 million square feet of commercial space. This new city wil l provide much-needed urban <br />services to the surrounding suburban residential areas. <br />NZ Consultants prepared the first comprehensive plan for the City of Westlake . The plan was <br />adopted in 2018, and it is in compliance with Florida statutes. <br /> Project Highlights <br /> NZ Consultants, Inc. (NZC) was <br />contracted by the City to provide <br />general planning and zoning services <br />in 2016. The consulting contract <br />includes long range and current <br />planning projects. <br />NZC revised and updated each element to be <br />in compliance with Florida Statutes and to <br />provide a sustainable community.
