<br />Mr. Romero has been involved in various planning projects, studies and data collection projects. He is experience in conducting various types of
<br />traffic studies including traffic counts, vehicle classifications, turning movement studies, speed studies, travel time and delay studies, parking studies,
<br />vehicle gap studies, and roadway characteristics inventory. He is responsible for the preparation of routes, schedules, maps, and field data collection.

<br />Since 2010, responsible for design engineering services for MOT plans per FDOT Standards for major detour along Florida's Turnpike connections
<br />from Golden Glades and HEFT during pre- and post-special-event traffic. Includes key sheets, lane closure analysis, project layout, tabulation of
<br />quantities using FDOT pay items, notes, special signing sheets, detour route plans for all Dolphin games and special events at stadium.
<br />This project ensure a healthy traffic environment for the City of Sweetwater residents, visitors, and proposed public facilities and services typical
<br />section businesses including committed developments assessment, provide a micro-simulation of existing and future conditions during AM and
<br />PM peak periods, concurrency analysis, turn lane evaluation, and determine recommendations to mitigate possible impacts.
<br />Served as prime consultant; included assignments such as qualitative assessments and traffic memorandums responding to public request that
<br />included congestion and safety concerns. Provided video-data collection, crash analyses, evaluation of predominant crash types and potential
<br />countermeasures for conceptual roadway and operational improvements.
<br />Included multiple tasks assignments such as traffic operation roadway characteristics inventories, evaluation of speed limits, evaluation of general
<br />public complaints, school zone reviews, and bottleneck studies.
<br />Provided traffic engineering services as part of feasibility study to apply Complete Streets concepts. Provided existing conditions analysis, traffic
<br />analysis for no build and build conditions, transit system operation analysis. Study recommended lane elimination and 1st bus preferential lane
<br />only in Miami-Dade County. Responsible for design to apply a Complete Streets concept; included provided signing & pavement marking plans.
