<br />Mr. Gonzalez has been involved in performing Roadway Characteristics Inventory (RCI) throughout Districts 4 and 6 of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
<br />He has experience updating characteristics in the RCI database. He is responsible for preparing routes, schedules, maps, and all other materials required for RCI field

<br />only in Miami-Dade County. Responsible for design to apply a Complete Streets concept; included provided signing & pavement marking plans.
<br />Project provided alternatives for improvements at interchange of SR-112/Lejeune Rd and Okeechobee Rd. Included evaluation of existing
<br />conditions, traffic data collection including big data evaluation for origin-destinations (HERE, Bluetooth, Streetlight) and operational analysis micro
<br />simulation model development. Provided documentation for Design Traffic Technical Memorandum (DTTM), assessed conceptual improvements.
<br />- Provided engineering services through the analysis of the districts pavement condition to ensure the Department can accurately identify, list, categorize and
<br />recommend all deficient and prone to be deficient pavement segments for scoping and programing. Responsibilities included evaluating State Material Office
<br />Pavement Condition Survey, cross-referencing with FDOT adopted Work Program to identify gaps within system that could require pavement restoration.
<br />Included multiple tasks assignments such as traffic operation roadway characteristics inventories, evaluation of speed limits, evaluation of public complaints,
<br />school zone reviews, and bottleneck studies.
<br />Multiple assignments; included Enhanced Pavement Management Program with primary objective to develop framework of reliable mechanisms to ensure and
<br />accurately identify all FDOT D6 pavement deficient segments to be assigned for scoping and gaming. Provided PTMS design services, coordinated and reviewed
<br />traffic data collection, provided engineering in-house support.
