<br />Fabian has experience in urban design and livable transportation projects that create community supported, context-sensitive design
<br />solutions for redeveloping suburban and urban environments. His experience includes preparing studies focused on creating
<br />frameworks that integrate land use, urban design, and transportation interventi ons with policy and market realities. During the planning
<br />process, he routinely coordinates and facilitates charrettes/workshops, conducts one-on-one interviews, and uses visualizations engage
<br />community members in communicating ideas, input, and discussion. Most of the projects he has worked on serve transit riders,
<br />pedestrians, and cyclists.

<br />Fabian has been involved in a number of Complete Streets projects for a variety of agencies and state transportation departments
<br />in Florida and New Jersey, among others. These projects focused on developing multi-modal context-sensitive solutions that
<br />support community goals, cater to the access and mobility needs of all users, and are financially and economically sound. Fabian
<br />led between 2016-2017 the concept development and implementation of a Complete Streets pilot project featuring the first bus-
<br />only lane and dedicated bicycle lane in Downtown Miami. Miami ranks among the top metropolitan areas with the highest
<br />pedestrian and bicycle crash rates in the country, underscoring a critical need to allow people more trans portation choices. This
<br />project repurposed a downtown corridor into a multimodal street that provides transit priority and expands mobility choices t o all
<br />street users, addressing pedestrian safety and increasing connectivity through the application of con text sensitive design
<br />measures.

<br />Communities across the U.S. are significantly lowering healthcare costs, improving productivity, fostering economic development,
<br />and enjoying a higher quality of life through the implementation of Blue Zones Projects. Fabian served as project manager and
<br />built environment expert for the Blue Zones team to complete a community assessment in Marshall County and Pierce County.
<br />The methodology involves a structured exploration of each comm unity to learn and assess the state of well-being and then build a
<br />plan for community transformation. During the readiness assessment workshops the team facilitated discussions to flush issues
<br />such as creating safer streets for youth and seniors, planning and zoning strategies for economic development and a variety of
<br />housing types, and strengthening the multimodal network for recreation, access, and healthy lifestyle purposes. The goal of these
<br />engagements is to understand where the community has been, where it wants to go, and how Blue Zones can help accelerate
<br />their transformation. Through this engagement process, the team identified the highest priority strengths, challenges, and
<br />opportunities, that served as a foundation for the development of a community blueprint, setting an actionable plan of short - and
<br />long-term strategies for increased economic vibrancy, environmental quality, a nd public health.

<br />The Northwest Progresso Flagler Heights Community Redevelopment Agency (NPF-CRA) Mobility Master Plan, which Fabian
<br />served as project manager and lead facilitator, sets forward a multimodal vision for this area located west of downtown Fort
<br />Lauderdale. The goal of the mobility master plan was to bring informed consensus about transportation infrastructure investments
