exceed $7,500.00. Lastly the police department has had the goal of training every officer in "active <br />shooter/hostile emergency response" training . We are seeking approval to acquire the services of <br />subject matter expert Jose Ramirez, who has trained our officers previously, to train six of our most <br />recently hired officers to achieve our goal. The amount spent on this training will not exceed <br />$6,000.00. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />One of the benefits of participating in and providing personnel into high intensity narcotics <br />investigations is the sharing of confiscated proceeds for the enhancement of law enforcement. All of <br />the attached items are authorized expenditures and are designated towards charitable ,and crime <br />prevention programs, enhancement of law enforcement equipment as well as legal costs associated <br />with the asset forfeiture process. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Funds have been appropriated in account no. 600-3-5210-XXXXXX-XXXXX. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution <br />Chief's Certification <br />Item Number: 10.A <br />
