7 <br /> <br />Q45. Under Section 2.9 Bid Bond, it says the Bid Bond shall be in the amount of 10% of the total <br />Proposal Price. However, on the Bid Bond Form itself (on PDF Page 113 of 114), the form says <br />the Bid Bond shall be 5% of the Base Bid? Please confirm if the Bid Bond should be for 5 percent <br />or 10 percent? <br />A45. The Bid Bond shall be in the amount of 10% of the total Proposal Price. <br /> <br />Q46. On Exhibit C Price Sheet, on Section Hourly Labor Rates Line Item # 374 “Traffic Control Plan <br />by Certified Firm”, the Price Sheet shows the Unit of Measurement listed as a “PG” while the <br />others in that Category are all listed “HR”. Was this Line Item intended to have UOM as “PG” and <br />if so, what does the acronym “PG” represent? <br />A46. The PG refers to “Per Page”. <br />Q47. What is the engineer’s estimate and/or budget for this RFP? <br />A47. The engineer’s estimate is $332,570.55. <br /> <br />Q48. Will Police escorts be required? If so, will an addendum be issued for that line item or will <br />the city cover that cost? <br />A48. The City will not pay for the police escorts. Per item III, of the Price Sheet, “The not-to- <br />exceed costs must be inclusive of all related expenses including contract administration, <br />technical assistance to the City, travel, and associated actions necessary for the Project by the <br />Consultant as defined in the scope of work.” <br /> <br />Q49. Will a line item be added for the MOT? <br />A49. Per item III, of the Price Sheet, “The not-to-exceed costs must be inclusive of all related <br />expenses including contract administration, technical assistance to the City, travel, and <br />associated actions necessary for the Project by the Consultant as defined in the scope of work.” <br /> <br />Q50. How many pavers (total square footage) should we bid on? Will pavers be provided or do <br />we provide? <br />A50. 100 SF of pavers. It is the contractor’s responsibility to update the pricing sheet <br />accordingly. <br /> <br />Q51. During the site visit it was mentioned that an additional conduit will be required. Will <br />there be additional line item for that? <br />A51. Refer to Addendum # 5. <br /> <br />Q52. Are we replacing the hand holes to 24x30 as was also stated during site visit? <br />A52. Refer to Answer # 60 below. <br /> <br />Q53. Will the city provide parking for construction or do we have to pay for it? <br />A53. Upon City approval, the City will accommodate the awarded contractor with Parking <br />Passes. <br /> <br />
