Bore Tech Utilities & Maintenance <br />RFP 22-04-01 <br />1. 12ct single mode fiber cables will be pulled through new 1.25" ducts that will be <br />placed between: <br />M01 & Heritage Park Garage. <br />M03 & Golden Shores Community Park. <br />M10 & Senator Gwen Margolis Park. <br />M12 & Samson Ocean Front Park <br />M13 & Town Center Park <br />M14 & Pier Park <br />M14 & Gateway Park Garage <br />M16 & Intercoastal Park <br />M17 Intercoastal Park <br />2. 24ct single mode fiber cables will be pulled through new 1.25" ducts that will be <br />placed between: <br />M01 & Heritage Park Garage. <br />M14 & Gateway Park Garage <br />3. 144ct single mode fibers cables will be pulled through existing ducts thro HH's <br />M01, M02, M03, M04, M05, M06, MO7, M08, M09, M10, M11, M12, M13, M14, M15, <br />M16 AND M17. <br />4. 288ct single mode fiber cables will be pulled through new 2"" ducts that will be <br />placed between: <br />M08 & parking lot in front of Data Center D2 <br />M09 & parking lot in front of Data Center D1 <br />We will perform fiber testing on 100% of all fiber strands installed. Testing shall be <br />completed using the following standards using equipment calibrated within the past 12 <br />months. <br />All fibers will be tested on the reel prior to installation utilizing an OTDR. Testing shall <br />be completed to verify continuity of length consistent with the length of the reel <br />documented. OTDR reel test shall be completed in one direction at 1550nm. Raw OTDR <br />traces as well as .pdf copies of reel test will be provided to the city as a project <br />deliverable. Traces will be performed to provide a clean trace and show beginning and <br />end of fiber. Any issues in fiber continuity or defects discovered shall be brought to the <br />attention of the City and shall not be installed until the issue is rectified. <br />10 <br />
