EMERGENCY PLAN RFP# 22-04-01 <br />SUMMARY <br />I. Hurricane Conditions Predicted Within Five Days <br />• Clean job site daily <br />• Inspect and secure tie -downs for all construction trailers <br />• Reschedule material deliveries that have little impact on production <br />• Make sure all staff is aware of important phone numbers and any contingency plan <br />• Contact subcontractors and outline expectations for securing job sites, provide <br />sub -contractors with a copy of contingency plan and emergency phone numbers <br />• Furnish the City of Sunny Isles Beach Engineering Dept. a list of all emergency <br />contact personnel and phone numbers <br />» Make sure all vehicles have flashlights and drinking water <br />II. Hurricane Watch Issued <br />• Police the jobsite and surrounding area to be sure all loose debris is removed <br />• Arrange to have dumpster and port -a -let removed <br />• Stop all material deliveries <br />• Stop any and all work that is highly vulnerable to damage <br />• Complete any work that my help prevent damage to job site <br />• Instruct subcontractors to secure or remove all unnecessary materials or <br />equipment from job site <br />• Prepare to cover windows and glass doors <br />• Plan for the next day as if a hurricane warning will be issued, make sure there is <br />sufficient time to complete all necessary tasks <br />III. Hurricane Warning Issued <br />• Make sure all dumpsters and port -a -let's have been removed from job site <br />• Remove scaffolding <br />• Secure and or remove all building materials <br />• Turn off all power at circuit breakers <br />• Close and cover all windows with plywood or shutters <br />• Back — up all computer records <br />• Secure office <br />• If authorities call for an evacuation, tell all employees and subcontractors to leave <br />site, then leave immediately <br />• Contact the City of Sunny Isles Beach within 24 hours of hurricane passing in order <br />to receive directive on clean-up activities <br />
