The awarded contract shall remain in effect for an initial three <br />(3) year term, provided that the services rendered by the Firm during the contract period are <br />satisfactory. <br /> <br />The City, at its sole option, may renew the contract for two (2) additional (1) one-year renewal <br />term. Exercising the option to renew is at the sole discretion of the City. <br /> <br />2.4 METHOD OF AWARD: <br /> <br />The City intends to pre-qualify one or multiple firms for landscape architectural services. <br />Award of a pre-qualification contract does not guarantee any future work to be awarded. The <br />best suited Firm within the required discipline, as determined by the City, for a particular task <br />or Project will be selected. In the event a Firm is selected for a specific project, the selected <br />Firm will be required to negotiate an agreement based on the hourly rates. Depending on the <br />type of Project, City Commission approval by resolution may be required. The City Manager <br />or designee will be the Contract administrator for each Project. <br /> <br />2.5 MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: <br /> <br />This RFQ contains Minimum Qualification Requirements (MQRs) which the Firm must <br />meet for the Firm to be considered responsive. Firms must meet the following minimum <br />qualifications at the time of submittal: <br /> <br />a. Primary firm must possess a State of Florida Registered Landscaping Architect <br />license; and Certificate of Authorization for Landscape Architecture Business <br />(Florida Statutes Chapter 481).
