<br />Sears Town Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale, FL: KEITH is providing services associated with the development of three parcels of land in Fort Lauderdale, generally known as Sears Town. The project is set within the RAC zoning in Fort Lauderdale and is positioned to be a signature development within the City. The project will include a series of high rise towers, parking structures, and a series of connected public realm areas that will create the atmosphere at the ground level. KEITH is providing site plan approval with the City of Fort Lauderdale. KEITH has included services for planning, civil engineering, traffic engineering, and landscape architecture. Cost: $99,000.00
<br />Fort Lauderdale Police Headquarters, Fort Lauderdale, FL: As subconsultant to AECOM, KEITH provides survey, subsurface utility engineering, utility coordination, planning, civil engineering, traffic engineering, landscape architecture, and construction management services for the Fort Lauderdale Police Headquarters. The Police Headquarters shall be built in phases. 1) Parking Garage (including Firing Range) and perimeter landscape buffers to residential neighborhoods 2) Initial Site Development: SW 13th Avenue extending up to existing Fleet Maintenance Facility; Restriping of existing surface parking; and Replacement of Radio Tower 3) Demolition of outparcel residential buildings and Construction of new Police Headquarters (including Central Plant) 4) Demolition of existing Police Headquarters and portion of Fleet Maintenance Facility (if not able to demolish entire facility) 5) Final Site Development: Extension of SW 13th Avenue to Broward Boulevard; Create Linear Park along Broward Boulevard; and Remove all surface parking and outparcel buildings as possible. Cost: $458,291.00
<br />Youth Sports Complex, Pompano Beach, FL: The Youth Sports Complex is a planned 10-acre multi-sport complex that is currently under construction. This will be a brand-new park to the City of Pompano Beach’s portfolio and is designed to include several multi-purpose sports fields, a clubhouse with concessions, restrooms, storage and offices, landscaping and walking paths, and a 180-space parking lot. The sports fields will be a mix of artificial turf and natural sod fields. The project was designed to preserve several mature canopy trees to provide a park experience that will have plenty of shade from the day it opens. KEITH is the prime consultant for the project and has led the multi-disciplinary design team throughout all phases. Early involvement included public outreach and planning, design development and site plan approval process, and eventually permitting and construction observation services. The park will be open in summer 2022. Cost: $421,750.00
<br />The Adderly Sistrunk Redevelopment Avenue of the Arts - West Village, Fort Lauderdale, FL: The Adderley seeks to create a transformative project in the burgeoning submarket of Fort Lauderdale known as Sistrunk. Resilient planning requires many facets to be considered to ensure a project can stand the test of time and measures a number of social, ecological, and economic factors. The Adderley addresses each of these components setting the tone for future development throughout the neighborhood. Socially, the project has worked with the surrounding community to pay tribute to one of the neighborhood icons, Cannonball Adderley, a famous African American jazz musician. Lead by development team UrbanoCO, including art was always a desire from the start of the project and the project went all in with the fusion of art, programming, and even renaming the project. In addition, the project will include market rate housing and commercial opportunities. Ecologically the project seeks to provide several elements that aid in protecting the site from storm water, sea level rise, and other mitigating elements. The project includes green and grey infrastructure, as well as contemplates major improvements to the public realm infrastructure including storm/sewer infrastructures that will enhance the surrounding neighborhood as well as provide for the new project. Economically the project will provide opportunity for work, live, and play environments as well as increase property values for the overall community. Additionally in partnership with the CRA the project is taking a once blighted area and turning it into an opportunity which will further enhance the ongoing resurgence of the Sistrunk neighborhood. KEITH is providing a full scope of services for this project consisting of 455 rental units, 13,800-sf of retail and a 4,000-sf restaurant. KEITH is providing geospatial engineering, planning, civil engineering, traffic engineering, landscape architecture, and construction management services. Cost: $193,180.00
