KEITH <br />was involved in all stages of the project. Cost: $255,110.00 <br />Marathon Public Library, Marathon, FL: The Marathon Public Library is part of the Monroe County Public Library system and serves the City of Marathon and the Middle Keys. The improvements consisted of a new library and adult education building, including associated parking/drive aisles and landscape areas. The 2-story, mixed-use facility includes dedicated adult education space, shared space, classrooms, shaded outdoor space, climate-controlled archival space and a dedicated climate-controlled IT room. The project met sustainability standards as per the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC). As part of the design team, KEITH provided civil engineering and landscape architecture services, including Certified Arborist services. The engineering requirements included site plan preparation, coordination and processing, engineering plans including water and sewer, on-site paving, grading and drainage, signing and pavement marking, stormwater pollution prevention, bidding assistance, and construction observation. Landscape services included tree inventory and appraisal, creating a tree disposition plan along with landscape and irrigation plans. Cost: $95,130.00 <br />Tunnel Top Park and Levitt Pavilion, Fort Lauderdale, FL: Esplanade Park has long served as a respite, offering peaceful green space with calming views of the New River in Fort Lauderdale. A valued landmark, Esplanade Park connects the Riverwalk with the surrounding Performing Arts Center, Museum of Science and Discovery, residents and local businesses. Through the support of the Levitt Foundation, this unique location has been reimagined as a vibrant venue for the arts, embracing local heritage of Native American culture in this historic space and celebrates the river while location while providing a state-of-the-art park and concert facility for the public. The project serves as a catalyst to new development in Fort Lauderdale’s civic core and will provide citizens with an attractive public environment for daily use and public events. Cost: approximately $100K <br />Pompano Beach Ocean Rescue Headquarters, Pompano Beach, FL: KEITH is providing assistance with the improvements of the City of Pompano Beach Ocean Rescue Building. The improvements include the addition of a second floor to the existing Ocean Rescue Building and include civil engineering and landscape architecture services. The civil design and permitting effort includes drainage, water and sanitary sewer connections to existing adjacent facilities. Permitting includes modification to the CCCL through FFWCC and FDEP for turtle lighting permitting. Cost: $29,500.00 <br />Wacissa River Park Feasibility Study, Greenville, FL: KEITH, as a subconsultant to Sand County Studios, assisted in the feasibility study for the Wacissa River Access and Park Improvement and Planning. The study provided a fact-based management tool to aid in determining whether property acquisition was feasible, reasonable, and economical. The feasibility study also addressed potential park access and use improvements to undeveloped portions of the current River Park property to determine whether additional desired improvements can be accommodated within the boundaries of the existing parcel. KEITH’s role was to evaluate long-term maintenance needs and estimate costs with recommendations. Cost: $19,500.00 <br />River Oaks Tree Disposition Project, Fort Lauderdale, FL: KEITH, as subconsultant to Ric Man Construction, was requested to assist in the development of this roadway infrastructure project that includes water and sewer upgrades. The project covers multiple streets in the River Oaks neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale. Services provided include tree survey, tree inventory and analysis, tree disposition plans, and permitting with the City of Fort Lauderdale.
