4.4 CERTIFIED MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISE <br />To this day, KEITH remains a 100% woman-owned business. We understand the importance of working with <br />and supporting Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and Minority/Women Business Enterprises (M/WBE). Supplier <br />diversity makes for good business practices by providing opportunities for an inclusive procurement environment, <br />recognizing the immense value in small, minority, and women business enterprises. <br />At KEITH, we are grateful for the opportunities that have been provided to our firm by being certified in many <br />programs over the years. Because of these programs, KEITH has been able to grow in both size and revenue, <br />allowing us the pleasure of graduating out of the programs and providing the same opportunity to other SBE and <br />M/WBE firms. KEITH currently holds MWBE certifications with the City of West Palm Beach and the City of Tampa. <br />KEITH previously held SBE and M/WBE certifications with the following: <br />• State of Florida <br />• Broward County <br />• Miami-Dade County Public Schools <br />• Palm Beach County Public Schools <br />• Broward College <br />• Broward County Public Schools <br />• Broward Health <br />• FDOT <br />• Miami-Dade County <br />• Palm Beach County <br />Owner and Chief Executive Officer, Dodie Keith-Lazowick, sits on a variety of committees dedicated to upholding the <br />importance of such efforts. These committees include Broward County Economic and Small Business Development <br />Advisory Board and the School Board of Broward County Minority and Diversity Participation Advisory Committee. <br />Dodie is also committed to continue supporting and mentoring fellow local SBE and M/WBE engineering firms. <br />KEITH has also begun the process of becoming certified with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council <br />(WBENC) and the National Association of Women Business Owners.
