KEITH Team Capacity
Given our current and projected workloads for the staff proposed herein, KEITH can and will provide the personnel
and resources required to service this contract. KEITH manages its long and short-term workload fluctuations
through a policy of proactive management and resource/personnel sharing. Our diverse staff has made the
commitment of their time and energy to meet the schedule requirements of similar contracts in the past and is
committed to providing unparalleled service to this contract. Delays are contained and minimized through routine
weekly department/project meetings aimed at maximizing project scheduling effectiveness.
Our staff routinely operates on extended and modified work schedules allowing for expedited project executions
and absorption of unforeseen schedule challenges. We carefully monitor our staff’s hours which allows us to
properly plan for additional staffing requirements. This senior management oversight and weekly interaction
ensures that the delivery and project communication remain with the utmost priority within the firm.
The KEITH Team has a distinguished history of successfully completing projects. Our success is due to a
combination of effective project management, strong technical expertise, and steadfast adherence to our quality
control program. The KEITH Team has collectively worked on numerous projects of similar nature throughout the
State of Florida.
To deliver a world class project, a world class team must be assembled. For this project, KEITH is thrilled to have
partners of the highest caliber.
Savino & Miller Design Studio is an award-winning firm that began in 1985 with the partnership of Adriana Savino
and Barry Miller as a collaborative approach between architecture and landscape architecture in the creation
of outdoor spaces. Drawing upon their passion for design in the public realm, Barry and Adriana fused their
diverse professional backgrounds in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Architecture, and Regional Planning,
incorporating Savino & Miller Design Studio in 1993.
They have since successfully brought numerous public sector projects to fruition, including parks, streetscapes,
urban design guidelines, master plans, and site and community planning. Their multi-faceted education and
experience gives them a broad perspective. This interdisciplinary “range” provides their clients with informed
design alternatives and creative problem-solving. Their studio’s work is essentially holistic and collaborative, with
a focus on resiliency, ecological stewardship, a clear understanding of the pragmatic, and a creative, “outside-the-
box” approach.
SMDS’s mission is to improve the quality of life through design and understanding of the interaction of the urban
with the natural world. As shapers of the spatial environment, the hope is to create meaningful experiences and joy
in our shared communal lives and private moments of solitude, as we interact with spaces. The focus is to design
spaces that reflect their location, intention and desire of those who will use them for years to come.
After almost three decades of working in the region, SMDS has a comprehensive understanding of South Florida’s
natural, human and cultural ecology, and the challenges of climate change, resiliency and adaptation impacting
the area. These challenges require a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment, latest technologies
and strategies, and demand a flexible and multidisciplinary approach to create the most effective solutions. As
important as the role that the community and stakeholders play on public projects; consensus-building is key to a
project’s success.
8RFQ No. 22-06-01
