Evaluation Criteria <br />4.1 Firm Qualifications and Experience <br />A) Background and Organizational <br />Structure <br />Kimley-Horn was founded 55 years ago in Raleigh, North Carolina. <br />The firm’s expertise was traffic planning and public transportation <br />at its inception and has since expanded both geographically and in <br />the variety of planning, engineering, and consulting services that <br />it provides. Today, Kimley-Horn is a full-service, multidisciplinary <br />consulting firm with 6,500 employees in 100 offices nationwide <br />offering a full range of consulting services to local, regional, and <br />international clients. In Florida alone, there are more than 1,000 <br />employees in 17 offices. Additionally, many of our employees are <br />former municipal engineers and planners; they have been on our <br />clients’ side of the table and are familiar with local governmental <br />procedures.
