32Response to RFQ # 22-06-01 - Landscape DE <br />The Upper Garden is a new family-oriented and inclusive garden that includes a playground, a petting <br />zoo, a sensory garden, a new restroom building, and new classroom facilities. Landscape DE served as <br />the prime consultant, oversaw the design and development of a master plan package for the site, detailed <br />design development, construction documents, and construction administration. The design was developed <br />through a workshop with Pinecrest Gardens and municipal staff. The multi-disciplinary project team <br />included architects, engineers, a zoo designer, artists, accessibility consultants, and others. The design <br />utilizes local materials, a heavily native plant palette, and state-of-the-art custom designed structures.
