Government Contracts <br />City of Lauderhill Sports Park <br />Lauderhill, FL <br />Town of Lauderdale-By-the-Sea Poinciana/Bougainvillea <br />Roadway and Parking Improvements <br />Town of Lauderdale-By-the-Sea, FL <br />Miller Legg was retained by the City of Lauderhill to provide <br />landscape architecture, irrigation design, civil engineering design, <br />stormwater permitting, construction specifications and bidding <br />assistance services for proposed amenities improvements at <br />the 12-acre Lauderhill Sports Park. Replacement of the baseball <br />field and cricket pitch natural grass with synthetic turf and the <br />football scoreboard replacement tasks have been finalized. <br />Miller Legg has also completed design of the playground area <br />wood chip surface conversion to synthetic turf, playground <br />shade, modifications to portions of the fitness trail and the <br />addition of new fitness stations trail and exercise equipment. <br />Start / Finish Date: 03/17 - 01/19 <br />Under the firm’s Continuing Services Contract, Miller Legg <br />provided design and permitting services for parking, roadway <br />and landscape architectural improvements for the Poinciana <br />Street and Bougainvillea Drive area north of Commercial <br />Boulevard to alleviate congestion along the parallel corridor of <br />SR A1A in the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. Services included: <br />roadway and parking area design, signing and pavement <br />marking, lighting, utility coordination, permitting, landscape, <br />hardscape and irrigation, and pre- and post-construction <br />observation services. <br />Start / Finish Date: 06/17 - 01/19 <br />Relevant to You: <br />Community Outreach / Interactive Webpage: <br />Miller Legg can coordinate with the City to organize a page within the <br />City’s existing website to assist in data gathering and dissemination <br />of project information.
