<br />Mr. Juncal is a Landscape Architect and
<br />Certified Arborist focused on a variety
<br />of public and private landscape
<br />architecture projects including roadway
<br />landscaping and irrigation, active and
<br />passive park landscape design, higher
<br />educational facilities as well as residential
<br />and commercial projects. Certified
<br />Arborist services include: tree species
<br />identification and inventories, tree
<br />surveys and canopy mapping,
<br />destroyed/damaged tree assessments,
<br />tree value estimates, tree grading, tree
<br />species selection for planting, mangrove
<br />trimming oversight and tree permitting.

<br />Relevant Project Experience:

<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Pelican
<br />Community Park - A three-acre active
<br />park site, for which Miller Legg managed
<br />landscape architecture, irrigation,
<br />engineering, surveying and architecture
<br />designs for a baseball field, recreation
<br />building, playground structure,
<br />gymnasium, and related site amenities
<br />within the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
<br />The project management team at Miller
<br />Legg received recognition from the City
<br />for their involvement in the design
<br />completion of the park. In addition,
<br />Miller Legg provided construction
<br />observation services. In addition, we
<br />also provided grant assistance to secure
<br />a Florida Recreational Development
<br />Assistant Program (FRDAP) grant for
<br />$200,000. FRDAP is a competitive grant
<br />program that provides financial
<br />assistance to local governments for
<br />development or acquisition of land for
<br />public outdoor recreational purposes.

<br />Margolis Park and Pelican
<br />Community Park Artificial Turf -
<br />The project consisted of the
<br />reconstruction of existing natural turf
<br />fields at Pelican Community Park and
<br />Senator Gwen Margolis Park in the City
<br />of Sunny Isles Beach with artificial turf.
<br />Miller Legg provided the preparation and
<br />permitting of drainage plans to collect
<br />under the new drain systems installed as
<br />part of the project, as well as surveying
<br />services. In addition, construction
<br />observation was provided to verify
<br />compliance with the plans and for the
<br />certification of the project through
<br />regulatory agencies.

<br />City of South Miami Sunset Drive
<br />Roadway and Beautification
<br />Improvements - For this 1/4-mile
<br />roadway and beautification project along
<br />Sunset Drive/SW 72nd Street from US 1
<br />to SW 57th Avenue, Miller Legg is
<br />providing landscape architecture,
<br />arborist, irrigation and construction
<br />observation services. The project scope
<br />consists of roadway and beautification
<br />improvements which includes proposed
<br />type âFâ curb and gutters, the
<br />replacement of sidewalks, and proposing
<br />new trees and plants and specified
<br />locations throughout the project site.
<br />Specific services include tree removal
<br />and disposition, irrigation field
<br />investigation, hardscape design, landscape
<br />design and construction observation
<br />services. Miller Legg is a subconsultant
<br />to Marlin Engineering.

<br />City of Miami Museum Park
<br />Baywalk Phase 3 - Miller Legg
<br />provided landscape architecture, civil
<br />engineering, lighting/electrical
<br />engineering, surveying, permitting and
<br />limited construction administration
<br />services for the Miami Baywalk Phase 3
<br />Project. Permitting for project
<br />improvements was provided through the
<br />City of Miami, Miami-Dade County and
<br />South Florida Water Management
<br />District. Underground utility designation
<br />for electric and drainage utilities was
<br />performed.The project is a 1/4 mile
<br />pedestrian-oriented urban waterfront
<br />park and promenade on Biscayne Bay,
<br />located adjacent to the east coast
<br />greenway. It provides a unique open
<br />space that links the American Airlines
<br />Arena, Biscayne Boulevard, and Museum
