<br />Services provided by Miller Legg included
<br />civil engineering, surveying, wetlands
<br />mitigation planning, assistance with grant
<br />writing, and mitigation construction
<br />observation. Permitting was coordinated
<br />with US Army Corps of Engineers,
<br />Broward County and South Florida
<br />Water Management District. Miller Legg
<br />worked in concert with several other
<br />consultants to deliver this project.

<br />City of Miramar Historic Public
<br />Safety Complex - The City of Miramar
<br />replaced the Civic Center and Child
<br />Care building with a new one-story
<br />24,000 SF building to accommodate its
<br />police substation, storage, administrative
<br />and other law enforcement and public
<br />safety facilities, in addition to a surface
<br />parking lot for safety vehicles. The new
<br />building was certified Gold LEED
<br />certification. Miller Legg provided civil
<br />engineering design, permitting and
<br />construction administration services as
<br />part of the Architects Design Group
<br />team. Government permitting included
<br />the City of Miramar, Broward County
<br />and FDEP. The firm also provided LEED
<br />certification and value engineering review
<br />services.

<br />City of Plantation Police
<br />Department Firing Range - Miller
<br />Legg provided survey, civil and
<br />construction administration for the City
<br />of Plantation Police Department Firing
<br />Range project. Project scope included
<br />topographic and tree survey, civil
<br />engineering construction documentation
<br />preparation, regulatory agency
<br />construction document permitting,
<br />coordination with project MEP and
<br />structural engineers, as well as bidding
<br />assistance and contract administration
<br />for this approximately 1/2 acre project.
<br />The scope included regulatory agency
<br />construction document permitting for
<br />drainage improvements, sanitary sewer,
<br />potable water and fire protection service
<br />line and building department review as
<br />necessary. This work was performed as a
<br />subconsultant to Architects Design
<br />Group (ADG).

<br />City of Miramar Ansin Sports
<br />Complex Engineering Analysis - The
<br />City of Miramar retained Miller Legg to
<br />perform a site engineering analysis of the
<br />existing lake at the Ansin Sports
<br />Complex to determine whether the lake
<br />can be filled to provide additional
<br />buildable area on the site. The scope of
<br />services involved analysis of the existing
<br />stormwater management system and
<br />coordination with the relevant
<br />permitting agencies; South Broward
<br />Drainage District and South Florida
<br />Water Management District. Miller Legg
<br />has also prepared boundary, topographic
<br />and tree surveys at the site.

<br />City of Miami Gardens Rolling Oaks
<br />Regional Park - Renovations of Rolling
<br />Oaks Regional Park include construction
<br />of a new one-story 4,000 SF recreation
<br />building, renovated restroom facilities,
<br />expansion of walking trail with lighting,
<br />distance marker, and exercise stations,
<br />new pavilions, new parking lot,
<br />refurbished basketball and tennis courts,
<br />new fencing, new shaded playgrounds,
<br />new landscaping and irrigation, addition
<br />of horseshoe pits, sand volleyball, mini
<br />golf and splashpad, and video system and
<br />WIFI. Miller Legg is providing civil
<br />engineering, landscape architecture and
<br />surveying services for this 7-acre park as
<br />a subconsultant to Synalovski, Romanik
<br />and Saye Architects. The civil scope
<br />includes design of a lift station and on-
<br />site force main extension to service the
<br />proposed Welcome Center. An arborist
<br />assessment of existing trees and palms
<br />was carried out as part of the landscape
<br />architecture services.

<br />School Board of Broward County
<br />(SBBC) Cooper City High School
<br />Fire Loop Main - Miller Legg is
<br />providing civil and surveying services for
<br />the improvement of an existing fire loop
<br />main at Cooper City High School.
<br />Surveying services consist of topographic
<br />and underground utility location
<br />designation. The civil scope covers fire
<br />main site work to serve four campus
<br />buildings and includes agency approvals,
<br />bidding assistance and final engineering
<br />plan development including associated
<br />restoration details. The firm is also
<br />providing construction administration.
<br />This project is part of the SBBC SMART
<br />Renovations program.

<br />City of Delray Beach Pompey Park
<br />Community Center and Campus
<br />Design - Miller Legg is providing
<br />surveying, SUE, civil engineering,
<br />landscape architecture, permitting and
<br />construction phase services associated
<br />with the design of Pompey Park
<br />Community Center and Campus in
<br />Delray Beach. Surveying services consist
<br />of specific service and topographic
<br />surveys; subsurface utility engineering,
<br />including vacuum excavations. Landscape
<br />architecture scope elements are
<br />associated with design of planting,
<br />irrigation, hardscape, site amenities, two
<br />(2) playgrounds, baseball fields
<br />(relocation and restoration). A tree
<br />inventory will be conducted by a firm
<br />certified arborist. Schematic design tasks
<br />include due diligence, code,
<br />programming, site engineering, landscape
<br />and hardscape schematic design
<br />verification. Miller Legg will assist with
<br />community outreach and relevant City
<br />agency design review presentations
<br />throughout the process. Permitting
<br />coordination will be conducted with the
<br />City Engineering and Water and Sewer
<br />departments, Lake Worth Drainage
<br />District and Palm Beach County Health
<br />Department.

<br />City of Dania Beach Southeast
<br />Drainage Improvements Phase 2 -
<br />Miller Legg is providing civil engineering,
<br />permitting and landscape architecture
<br />services for this drainage improvement
<br />project to improve current flooding
<br />issues at the 103-acre neighborhood
<br />bounded by SE 3rd Street to the North,
<br />SE 2 Ave to the West, SE 7 Street to the
<br />South and SE 5th Avenue to the East.
<br />Drainage solutions include pump
<br />stations, drainage wells, exfiltration
<br />trenches, etc. to reduce flooding,
<br />including duration and severity, reduce
<br />neighborhood impacts and mitigate
<br />project costs. Miller Legg is a
<br />subconsultant to WSP USA.
