He is highly <br />organized, motivated and technically <br />proficient with engineering designs, <br />engineering programs such as WaterCad, <br />AutoCad, and many drainage design <br />software programs. He has significant <br />experience leading large and high profile <br />projects within Miami-Dade, Broward <br />and Palm Beach Counties, which include <br />design, permitting and construction <br />management. <br /> <br />Relevant Project Experience: <br /> <br />City of Homestead Biscayne- <br />Everglades Greenway Trail - Among <br />the services Miller Legg provided for this <br />3.2 mile, 12-foot-wide Biscayne <br />Everglades Greenway shared-use trail <br />project are landscape architectural, <br />engineering, surveying and environmental <br />services including preparation of FDOT- <br />approved construction documents, <br />design of regulatory and wayfinding signs, <br />pavement markings, safe pedestrian push <br />button crossing and necessary drainage <br />within the C-103 Canal right-of-way <br />from East Mowry Drive to SW 137th <br />Avenue in Homestead. The scope of <br />services was based upon a 2017 Florida <br />Shared-use Non-Motorized Trail <br />Agreement between the City of <br />Homestead and FDOT. Topographic and <br />SUE services were delivered. The scope <br />included engineering design and <br />permitting services for the shared-use <br />trail, associated drainage and roadway <br />pedestrian crossings. The firm also <br />carried out Preliminary Natural <br />Resource and Protected Species <br />Investigations and documents related to <br />designation of the Project by FDOT as a <br />Documented Categorical Exclusion. <br /> <br />City of Miami Gardens Rolling Oaks <br />Regional Park - Renovations of Rolling <br />Oaks Regional Park include construction <br />of a new one-story 4,000 SF recreation <br />building, renovated restroom facilities, <br />expansion of walking trail with lighting, <br />distance marker, and exercise stations, <br />new pavilions, new parking lot, <br />refurbished basketball and tennis courts, <br />new fencing, new shaded playgrounds, <br />new landscaping and irrigation, addition <br />of horseshoe pits, sand volleyball, mini <br />golf and splashpad, and video system and <br />WIFI. Miller Legg is providing civil <br />engineering, landscape architecture and <br />surveying services for this 7-acre park as <br />a subconsultant to Synalovski, Romanik <br />and Saye Architects. The civil scope <br />includes design of a lift station and on- <br />site force main extension to service the <br />proposed Welcome Center. An arborist <br />assessment of existing trees and palms <br />was carried out as part of the landscape <br />architecture services. <br /> <br />City of Oakland Park East Dog Park <br />- To assist with the City of Oakland <br />Park's plan to develop a 1-acre Dog Park <br />at the existing Richard Giusti Heart Par <br />Cours Park, Miller Legg was retained for <br />topographic and tree surveying, SUE, <br />engineering and landscape architecture <br />services as well as an opinion of probable <br />cost. The firm is providing schematic <br />designs and renderings to provide off- <br />street parking along NE 6th Avenue and <br />NE 36th Street, sidewalk connectivity, <br />modification to the existing jogging trail, <br />dog park design for small and large dogs <br />which includes landscape improvements, <br />tree additions, canopy shelters, water <br />stations, pet waste stations, benches and <br />asphalt walking paths. This project is <br />being performed under Miller Legg's <br />continuing services contract. <br /> <br />City of Pembroke Pines West Pines <br />Soccer Park - A 56-acre active and <br />passive municipal park located at 196th <br />Avenue and Pines Boulevard in the City <br />of Pembroke Pines. This unique park's <br />features included four soccer fields and <br />one football facility as well as providing <br />other active park elements with passive <br />park facilities such as a boardwalk and 21 <br />acres of wetlands mitigation area. <br />Glen Harrelson, PE <br />Project Engineer (As Needed)
