His <br />principal areas of experience include <br />surveys such as boundary, topographic, <br />ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, quantity, <br />environmental and wetland, <br />condominium, construction layout, as- <br />built, right-of-way, specific purpose and <br />subdivisions and platting, as well as <br />subsurface utility engineering (SUE). He <br />currently manages the South Florida <br />survey department and field crews and is <br />an Associate with the firm. <br /> <br />Relevant Project Experience: <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Gwen <br />Margolis Park and Pelican <br />Community Park Artificial Turf - <br />The project consisted of the <br />reconstruction of existing natural turf <br />fields at Pelican Community Park and <br />Senator Gwen Margolis Park in the City <br />of Sunny Isles Beach with artificial turf. <br />Miller Legg provided the preparation and <br />permitting of drainage plans to collect <br />under the new drain systems installed as <br />part of the project, as well as surveying <br />services. In addition, construction <br />observation was provided to verify <br />compliance with the plans and for the <br />certification of the project through <br />regulatory agencies. <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Pelican <br />Community Park - A three-acre active <br />park site, for which Miller Legg managed <br />landscape architecture, irrigation, <br />engineering, surveying and architecture <br />designs for a baseball field, recreation <br />building, playground structure, <br />gymnasium, and related site amenities <br />within the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br />The project management team at Miller <br />Legg received recognition from the City <br />for their involvement in the design <br />completion of the park. In addition, <br />Miller Legg provided construction <br />observation services. In addition, we <br />also provided grant assistance to secure <br />a Florida Recreational Development <br />Assistant Program (FRDAP) grant for <br />$200,000. FRDAP is a competitive grant <br />program that provides financial <br />assistance to local governments for <br />development or acquisition of land for <br />public outdoor recreational purposes. <br />Award: Award of Merit, American Society of <br />Landscape Architects, Florida Chapter, 2009 <br /> <br />Sunny Isles Marina Survey - For this <br />3-acre marina site in the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach, Miller Legg prepared and <br />updated an American Land Title <br />Association (ALTA) survey as well as a <br />topographic survey of the docks. <br /> <br />City of Homestead Biscayne- <br />Everglades Greenway Trail - Among <br />the services Miller Legg provided for this <br />3.2 mile, 12-foot-wide Biscayne <br />Everglades Greenway shared-use trail <br />project are landscape architectural, <br />engineering, surveying and environmental <br />services including preparation of FDOT- <br />approved construction documents, <br />design of regulatory and wayfinding signs, <br />pavement markings, safe pedestrian push <br />button crossing and necessary drainage <br />within the C-103 Canal right-of-way <br />from East Mowry Drive to SW 137th <br />Avenue in Homestead. The scope of <br />services was based upon a 2017 Florida <br />Shared-use Non-Motorized Trail <br />Agreement between the City of <br />Homestead and FDOT. Topographic and <br />SUE services were delivered. The scope <br />included engineering design and <br />permitting services for the shared-use <br />trail, associated drainage and roadway <br />pedestrian crossings. The firm also <br />carried out Preliminary Natural <br />Resource and Protected Species <br />Investigations and documents related to <br />designation of the Project by FDOT as a <br />Documented Categorical Exclusion. <br /> <br />City of Miami Armbrister Park <br />Community Center - Esther Mae <br />Armbrister Park is a 4.4-acre City of <br />Miami Park located at 4000 Grand <br />Avenue, Miami, FL 33133 in the Coconut <br />Martin Rossi, PSM <br />Project Surveyor | SUE Services | 3D Laser Scanner (5% Availability) <br />
