Qualification of Key Personnel Assigned to Engagement <br />Request for Qualifications # 22-06-01 Continuing Services for Landscape Architectural Services CCNA <br /> <br />permitting, bidding assistance and limited <br />construction administration. Miller Legg <br />will also conduct a Bonneted Bat survey <br />and perform a bathymetric survey for <br />the seawall component. The firm is <br />assisting the City to gather community <br />stakeholder input during the design <br />process. Government agency permitting <br />will be coordinated with Miami-Dade <br />Co. DERM, WASD and SFWMD. <br /> <br />City of Miami Beach Chase Avenue <br />and 34th Street Shared Path - <br />Under its continuing services agreement <br />with the City of Miami Beach, Miller Legg <br />was retained to provide surveying, civil <br />engineering and landscape architecture <br />services related to the new Chase <br />Avenue and 34th Street shared path and <br />roadway improvements project. The 10- <br />ft shared use path will support the use of <br />simultaneous pedestrian and bicycle <br />activity. The scope of services includes <br />topographic surveying, tree inventory, <br />disposition and permitting; irrigation, <br />landscape, hardscape and amenities <br />design, site civil design development for <br />clearing/demolition, signage and marking, <br />paving, grading, drainage and erosion <br />control/pollution prevention. Team <br />subconsultants are performing <br />geotechnical tasks (soil test borings and <br />SFWMD exfiltration tests) and electrical <br />engineering/site lighting. Miller Legg is <br />also responsible for permitting <br />coordination with the City and Miami- <br />Dade DERM, as well as bidding <br />assistance/contract administration and <br />construction phase tasks including <br />construction observation. <br /> <br />City of Tamarac University Drive <br />Landscaping Improvements - Miller <br />Legg is providing landscape architecture, <br />hardscape, and irrigation design, <br />permitting, specific purpose survey of the <br />existing medians, utility coordination, <br />utility designation, and construction <br />administrative services for improvements <br />to the existing system of medians on <br />University Drive between NW 78th <br />Street and Southgate Blvd. in the City of <br />Tamarac. Certified Arborist services may <br />also be included for tree analysis, <br />removal and relocation needs. <br />Coordination with numerous agencies <br />including FDOT, SFWMD and the City <br />of Tamarac will also be performed. The <br />project has received funding from an <br />FDOT Grant and included creation of <br />MMOA (Maintenance agreements) <br />between the City and FDOT. Miller <br />Legg worked consistently with both the <br />City of Tamarac and FDOT to meet the <br />strict deadlines to receive this additional <br />funding. <br /> <br />City of Coral Gables Sunrise <br />Harbor Surveying - As part of the <br />team which conducted a drainage <br />infrastructure needs assessment within <br />the Sunrise Harbor neighborhood in <br />Coral Gables, Miller Legg was retained <br />to perform topographic surveying of <br />roadways within the subdivision to show <br />above-ground improvements including <br />evidence of utilities, sanitary and <br />drainage sewer structure rim elevations <br />and traffic signs. Invert elevations, pipe <br />sizes, directions and material were <br />shown in accessible storm and sanitary <br />sewer structures. A tree survey was <br />conducted to show trees in the right-of- <br />way as well as trunk diameters, <br />approximate heights and canopy spreads. <br />The scope also included topographic <br />surveys on specific lots and provided <br />bottom of canal elevations at outfalls and <br />outfall pipe invert elevations. Our crews <br />used our terrestrial field 3-D scanner to <br />complete this work in an expeditious <br />manner. <br /> <br />City of Miami Beach 20th Street & <br />Sunset Drive Pocket Park - Under <br />our Continuing Services Contract with <br />the City of Miami Beach, Miller Legg was <br />awarded an assignment to provide <br />survey, civil, geotechnical, electrical, <br />structural engineering and landscape <br />architecture services for the design, <br />permitting and construction of a new <br />ADA-accessible .33-acre pocket park at <br />20th Street and Sunset Drive. The firm <br />prepared a boundary and topographic <br />survey, assisted with the planning of key <br />program elements and performed <br />schematic design, design development, <br />construction document, bidding and <br />construction tasks. The design <br />incorporates Crime Prevention Through <br />Environmental Design (CPTED) <br />principles. Arborist and irrigation design <br />services were also furnished for this <br />project. <br /> <br /> <br />City of Homestead Biscayne- <br />Everglades Greenway Trail - Among <br />the services Miller Legg provided for this <br />3.2 mile, 12-foot-wide Biscayne <br />Everglades Greenway shared-use trail <br />project are landscape architectural, <br />engineering, surveying and environmental <br />services including preparation of FDOT- <br />approved construction documents, <br />design of regulatory and wayfinding signs, <br />pavement markings, safe pedestrian push <br />button crossing and necessary drainage <br />within the C-103 Canal right-of-way <br />from East Mowry Drive to SW 137th <br />Avenue in Homestead. The scope of <br />services was based upon a 2017 Florida <br />Shared-use Non-Motorized Trail <br />Agreement between the City of <br />Homestead and FDOT. Topographic and <br />SUE services were delivered. The scope <br />included engineering design and <br />permitting services for the shared-use <br />trail, associated drainage and roadway <br />pedestrian crossings. The firm also <br />carried out Preliminary Natural <br />Resource and Protected Species <br />Investigations and documents related to <br />designation of the Project by FDOT as a <br />Documented Categorical Exclusion. <br /> <br />City of Miami Gardens Rolling Oaks <br />Regional Park - Renovations of Rolling <br />Oaks Regional Park include construction <br />of a new one-story 4,000 SF recreation <br />building, renovated restroom facilities, <br />expansion of walking trail with lighting, <br />distance marker, and exercise stations, <br />new pavilions, new parking lot, <br />refurbished basketball and tennis courts, <br />new fencing, new shaded playgrounds, <br />new landscaping and irrigation, addition <br />of horseshoe pits, sand volleyball, mini <br />golf and splashpad, and video system and <br />WIFI. Miller Legg is providing civil <br />engineering, landscape architecture and <br />surveying services for this 7-acre park as <br />a subconsultant to Synalovski, Romanik <br />and Saye Architects. The civil scope <br />includes design of a lift station and on- <br />site force main extension to service the <br />proposed Welcome Center. An arborist <br />assessment of existing trees and palms <br />was carried out as part of the landscape <br />architecture services. <br />
