<br />worked his way up from Rod Person to
<br />Party Chief. He has experience working
<br />with both surveying and subsurface utility
<br />engineering (SUE) projects for public
<br />entities throughout South Florida.
<br />Experience includes boundary,
<br />topographic, right-of-way, as-built,
<br />special purpose surveys, cross sections,
<br />drainage surveys, construction surveys,
<br />and a variety of other surveys.

<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Gwen
<br />Margolis Park and Pelican
<br />Community Park Artificial Turf -
<br />The project consisted of the
<br />reconstruction of existing natural turf
<br />fields at Pelican Community Park and
<br />Senator Gwen Margolis Park in the City
<br />of Sunny Isles Beach with artificial turf.
<br />Miller Legg provided the preparation and
<br />permitting of drainage plans to collect
<br />under the new drain systems installed as
<br />part of the project, as well as surveying
<br />services. In addition, construction
<br />observation was provided to verify
<br />compliance with the plans and for the
<br />certification of the project through
<br />regulatory agencies.

<br />City of Coral Springs Municipal
<br />Complex Topographical Survey - In
<br />preparation for the development of the
<br />new City of Coral Springs Municipal
<br />Complex, Miller Legg was retained to
<br />prepare a topographic survey to
<br />incorporate previously surveyed
<br />portions of the property to show 50'
<br />elevations as well as storm and sanitary
<br />sewer inverts.

<br />City of Miami Gardens Rolling Oaks
<br />Regional Park - Renovations of Rolling
<br />Oaks Regional Park include construction
<br />of a new one-story 4,000 SF recreation
<br />building, renovated restroom facilities,
<br />expansion of walking trail with lighting,
<br />distance marker, and exercise stations,
<br />new pavilions, new parking lot,
<br />refurbished basketball and tennis courts,
<br />new fencing, new shaded playgrounds,
<br />new landscaping and irrigation, addition
<br />of horseshoe pits, sand volleyball, mini
<br />golf and splashpad, and video system and
<br />WIFI. Miller Legg is providing civil
<br />engineering, landscape architecture and
<br />surveying services for this 7-acre park as
<br />a subconsultant to Synalovski, Romanik
<br />and Saye Architects. The civil scope
<br />includes design of a lift station and on-
<br />site force main extension to service the
<br />proposed Welcome Center. An arborist
<br />assessment of existing trees and palms
<br />was carried out as part of the landscape
<br />architecture services.

<br />City of Coral Gables Sunrise
<br />Harbor Surveying - As part of the
<br />team which conducted a drainage
<br />infrastructure needs assessment within
<br />the Sunrise Harbor neighborhood in
<br />Coral Gables, Miller Legg was retained
<br />to perform topographic surveying of
<br />roadways within the subdivision to show
<br />above-ground improvements including
<br />evidence of utilities, sanitary and
<br />drainage sewer structure rim elevations
<br />and traffic signs. Invert elevations, pipe
<br />sizes, directions and material were
<br />shown in accessible storm and sanitary
<br />sewer structures. A tree survey was
<br />conducted to show trees in the right-of-
<br />way as well as trunk diameters,
<br />approximate heights and canopy spreads.
<br />The scope also included topographic
<br />surveys on specific lots and provided
<br />bottom of canal elevations at outfalls and
<br />outfall pipe invert elevations. Our crews
<br />used our terrestrial field 3-D scanner to
<br />complete this work in an expeditious
<br />manner.
