Page 92Request for Qualifications # 22-06-01 Continuing Services for Landscape Architectural Services CCNA <br />4.3 Project Approach <br />projects at the City of Miami’s Moore Park, Kennedy Park <br />and Morningside Park projects, and most recently for <br />the design improvements of the City of Coral Gables War <br />Memorial Park project. <br />ADDITIONAL IN-HOUSE CAPABILITIES <br />As mentioned earlier in our qualifications, Miller Legg is <br />a statewide award-winning consulting firm that brings <br />together the elements of landscape architecture, <br />planning, engineering, surveying, environmental <br />wetlands consulting, and geographic information <br />systems services. <br />For this Landscape Architecture Consulting Services <br />contract, Miller Legg has proposed utilizing our in- <br />house capabilities of landscape architects and designers. <br />The firm’s landscape architecture services include: <br />recreational and commercial planning, hardscape, <br />irrigation, urban design, streetscape, planting, <br />project theming, signage & graphic design, contract <br />administration, construction observation services, plan <br />review, horticultural consulting and arboriculture. The <br />firm’s arborist consulting services include: tree species <br />identification/ inventories, tree surveys and mapping, <br />destroyed/damaged tree assessments and value <br />estimates, tree grading, tree species selection, mangrove <br />trimming oversight and tree permitting. We have been <br />recognized as the premiere landscape architectural <br />firm for municipal and private sector facilities and have <br />received dozens of awards in support of this. <br />Supporting service staff, including certified arborists, <br />certified landscape inspectors, environmental specialists <br />lighting engineers and technicians, as well as surveyors <br />and survey technicians/SUE staff will also be at hand to <br />assist in achieving the objectives and scope of services for <br />this consulting Contract for the City.
