Provide multiple and diverse means of
communication, to reach the broadest base of the
impacted stakeholder community.
The Miller Legg Team has experience, both globally and
locally, in projects that heavily affect the public. Our
intent is to mitigate any negative impact to surrounding
businesses and identify strategies that will allow them to
continue operating as efficiently as possible. Our Team
recognizes the need to proactively inform property
owners and others of the benefits of the project along
with subsequent construction impacts. Performing
proper due diligence in order to understand the
demographics and concerns of the community is critical
to ensuring work progresses without costly delays. To
facilitate this, our Team will closely coordinate with City
officials and all other necessary individuals.
We have successfully implemented these procedures
on several projects, including the City of Miami La
Pastorita Neighborhood Roadway Improvements
Study, City of Miami Biscayne Boulevard Streetscape,
City of Miami Fairlawn Community Park, South Miami
Parks and Recreation Master Plan, Miami-Dade Aviation
Department (MDAD) Central Boulevard Landscape
Master Plan and numerous FDOT projects.
COMMUNICATION & REPORTING
Communication and the ability to establish efficient
coordination between the City and the Miller Legg Team
will be key to successful execution of projects anticipated
under this Continuing Services Contract. Our Project
Manager will utilize formal submittals of documents,
face-to-face, telephone and email communication as
appropriate for the type of issue to be communicated
during the span of a project. At the commencement of
this contract, Miller Legg will provide the City of Sunny
Isles Beach with contact information for key personnel,
including phone numbers, cellular phone numbers and
email addresses to allow the best possible access to the
people doing the work.
We also know that proper communication of
expectations and progress throughout the life of each
project is the cornerstone to building trust. Because
the complexity and duration of task assignments often
dictate the level of communication warranted, we will
work with the City Project Manager(s) and staff to tailor
our reporting structure for each task order to meet your
expectations. Our Team is available to work extended
hours as necessary to complete each project task on
schedule and within budget.
TECHNICAL
Utilization of the right software is crucial to communicate
the projects design intent to the audience. Miller Legg has
full capabilities to develop all levels of computer aided
design (CAD), including the current versions of AutoCAD,
Microstation, Land FX and Impression. In addition, the
Firm utilizes graphic software to generate the exhibits
necessary to communicate a project’s intent using
Lumion, ESRI (GIS) SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and
Maxwell Render software. We have successfully utilized
these resources to prepare community involvement,
design and permitting documents for current and past
RESOURCES
Lumion 3D Rendering
