We are fully vertically
integrated, offering everything from initial design to replacement parts to life cycle maintenance. We have
complete design and manufacturing capabilities for both fabric and steel in our Fort Lauderdale factory. Based
out of our Fort Lauderdale factory, we also have employee field crews that perform all aspects of our projects
from concrete to commissioning.
A Shadeport® project begins with customer consultation on site with one of our industry veterans, taking into
account all aspects of the customer's shade needs.
Proper placement of shade
Aesthetics vs cost
Technical feasibility of the project
Life cycle maintenance of each design
Regulatory issues (permitting, safety, environmental impact, playground safety, site conflicts, etc).
Once we have an agreed upon design and signed contract (or Purchase Order), we start on Engineering for the
site specific design. Engineering takes into account all local building codes and regulations as well as all national
and international requirements such as the Florida Building Code and ASCE Structural Requirements.
With Engineering completed, and if a permit is required, Industrial Shadeports submits for a Building Permit with
the appropriate local jurisdiction. As a Certified General Contractor (DBPR k CGC1525577), we are familiar with
most of the jurisdictions and tailor our submittal package to the local requirements.
After the permit is issued, we get to work manufacturing the steel or aluminum structure(s) as well as the fabric
cover(s). We prefer to have everything manufactured and ready to go before we show up on site. For single
structures, our typical schedule on site will be as follows:
Monday — Arrive on site, final layout of the structure/sails, dig footers, place anchor bolts or columns
Tuesday — Building Department inspection in the morning and pour foundations in the afternoon
Wednesday — Day off if concrete is not ready
Thursday — Set columns, erect structure, install cover, clean up site
Friday— Final Building Department Inspections, head home
Our teams specialize in Shade, so we can execute projects faster and more realiably. Being a manufacturer as
well as a contractor that self performs all of our work, allows us to design for manufacturability, installability and
maintainability. The intimate feedback provided from employee to employee in the factory and the field
provides a simple pathway for continuous improvement.
Industrial Shadeports offers a Price Guarantee as well as a Delivery Guarantee and we challenge anyone in the
market to beat our combination of Quality, Safety, Service and Pricel
Try us out and you will be delighted!
InfoCcDShadeoorts.com 6600 NW 12" Ave, Suite 220
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309
954-755-0661
www.Shadeoorts.com
.Lrt (' l' .
