<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach | ITB 22-12-02 18 <br /> <br />SECTION 3 <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />3.1 SCOPE OF SERVICES: <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida (the “City”) is hereby requesting sealed bids from qualified <br />contractors (the “Contractor” or the “Bidder”) to furnish all labor, management, materials and <br />equipment to provide Sports Officiating Services. Officials shall be defined as one who administers <br />the rules of a game or sport and shall be inclusive of the term referee, line judge, scorekeeper, <br />and umpire unless stated otherwise. <br /> <br />3.2 SPORTS FIELD AND COURT LOCATIONS <br /> <br /> Game Locations Address <br />Senator Gwen Margolis Park 17815 North Bay Road, Sunny Isles Beach FL 33160 <br />Pelican Community Park 18115 North Bay Road, Sunny Isles Beach FL 33160 <br />Samson Oceanfront Park 17425 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach FL 33160 <br />Highland Oaks Park 20300 NE 24th Avenue, Miami, FL 33180 <br /> <br />3.3 TYPES OF USAGE <br /> <br /> Types of officiating services required under this contract are as follows: <br /> <br />• The selected contractor will be expected to assign referees to the required number of <br />games scheduled as determined by the City’s Athletics Coordinator. This shall include all <br />regular, playoff and tournament league games. <br />• The number of games may vary and will ultimately be determined by the number of <br />players registered and the number of teams which make up the program. <br />• The selected Contractor will be required to assign the specified number of certified, <br />insured, and successfully background checked officials to each scheduled game. <br />• The selected contractor may be required to assign referees to games played at an <br />alternate location (not included in the list above) within a 20 mile radius of the City. These <br />games would be determined by an affiliated league or tournament the City is participating <br />in. <br /> <br />3.4 ATTIRE <br /> <br />Unless otherwise directed, appropriate uniform or dress in accordance with rules outlined in <br />NFHS. <br />• Officiating shirt (Contractor may determine if striped or blue shirts are to be used) <br />• Black shorts or pants <br />• Black socks
