The new seawall is anticipated to include concrete <br />panels, batter piles, and a new concrete cap. <br />Cummins Cederberg will prepare drawings in sufficient detail for submittal to the regulatory agencies, as <br />well as ultimate construction. <br />The following drawing sheets are anticipated: <br />1. Cover Sheet — Location maps, titles. <br />2. Site Plan — Existing conditions, survey, water depths <br />3. Proposed Plan — Seawall layout, piling locations, turbidity curtains <br />4. Sections — Cross sections, structural details <br />5. General Notes — Specifications, materials, list of abbreviations <br />Task 603 New Seawall Environmental Permitting <br />(Cummins Cederberg — Structural / Environmental Sub.) <br />Cummins Cederberg will prepare and submit the permit applications for the construction of the new seawall <br />for the new Bella Vista Park and process them through the following regulatory agencies: <br />1. Miami -Dade County DERM Class I — Coastal Construction Permit Application and Processing <br />2. State-wide Environmental Resource Permit (SWERP) Exemption Verification Form and Processing. <br />3. US Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) Application and Processing <br />Task 604 New Seawall Bid Assistance <br />(Cummins Cederberg — Structural / Environmental Sub.) <br />Cummins Cederberg will provide consulting services as part of the bid selection process for the proposed <br />marine works. This will include submitting bid documents to potential marine contractors and subsequent <br />review of bids. A summary outlining potential variations in bids will be prepared to simplify comparison and <br />a recommendation of the preferred bidder will be made.
