This will include submitting bid documents to potential marine contractors <br />and subsequent review of bids. A summary outlining potential variations in bids will be prepared <br />to simplify comparison and a recommendation of the preferred bidder will be made. Cummins <br />Cederberg will also attend (1) meeting, as requested by the Client. <br />Fees for Task 3.1 are lump sum (including expenses): .................................................... Hourly* <br />*Target hourly fee budget, not to exceed $4,400.00 without authorization to extend <br />budget in writing. <br />Task 3.2 Construction Administration <br />Cummins Cederberg will provide construction administration services for the Project as requested <br />by the Client. Services provided may include review of pile driving logs, shop drawing review, site <br />observations with reports (including milestone and final inspections), responses to Requests for <br />Information (RFI's), and/or review of Contractor's Payment Applications. <br />Fees for Task 3.2 are hourly (per attached Rate Schedule) ............................................. Hourly* <br />*Target hourly fee budget, not to exceed $35,000.00 without authorization to extend <br />budget in writing. Cummins Cederberg will monitor our level of involvement and notify the <br />Client as soon as a budget increase is anticipated. Budget forecast assumes a 4 -month <br />construction schedule with most of the construction administration being handled by the Client. <br />Conditions/Assumptions <br />■ Client shall notify Cummins Cederberg of any known conditions related to the Project that <br />may affect the scope of services. <br />■ Client shall provide safe access to the Project site as needed by Cummins Cederberg to <br />complete the scope of services. <br />■ Client shall provide any available background information, such as as -built drawings, <br />historical photographs, permits or other documentation. <br />■ Client to provide geotechnical investigation data and report; Cummins Cederberg to <br />coordinate with Client's geotechnical engineer as required. <br />■ Client to provide a recent (within one year) property survey in CAD and PDF format; survey <br />must be tied to the State Plane Coordinate System. Survey must include elevations below <br />Mean High Water to wading depth. <br />■ Legal, agency, application fees, permit fees, mitigation bond, performance bond, to be <br />provided by Client if required. <br />■ This scope assumes that a variance from the County Code will not be required by the <br />Environmental Quality Control Board, a Standard Form with approval from the Miami - <br />CUMMINS CEDERBERG, INC.
