(3) Elections Dates: The City Charter currently provides that the City's general election be held <br />in November of odd -numbered years and that the run-off, if necessary, be held the <br />December following. It is proposed that the Charter be amended to provide that the City's <br />general elections be held in even -numbered years in November in conjunction with <br />elections held by Miami -Dade County, and that the terms of all currently sitting elected <br />officials be extended to accomplish this goal. <br />Shall the above described amendment be adopted? <br />Yes 3,128 votes <br />No 1,425 votes <br />Section 2. Effective Date.
