Local Planning Agency discussion and/or action re: an Ordinance of the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach imposing a twelve (12) month moratorium on the submission and consideration of <br />zoning applications, development orders, and development permits in the Town Center <br />Zoning District. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Mauricio Betancur read the title, and Planning and Zoning Director Claudia <br />Hasbun reported. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: Crush, Courtney; Edelcup, Norman; Katz, Dan; Ward, Cecilia; Zidar, <br />Andrew; Vasilev, Igor; Grossman, Greg; Kalish, Ella; Grozdanova, Rumiana; Steiger, Arie. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Svechin moved, and Commissioner Viscarra seconded a motion to recommend to <br />the City Commission the adoption of the Ordinance. The motion was adopted by a voice <br />vote of 4-1 in favor [Commissioner Goldman opposed]. <br /> <br />3B. Local Planning Agency discussion and/or action re: a Resolution of the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach declaring a “Zoning in Progress” relating to development and redevelopment in the <br />Town Center Zoning District. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Mauricio Betancur read the title, and City Manager Christopher J.
