Summary Minutes: Local Planning Agency Meeting August 28, 2019 City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br /> <br />2 <br />Vice Mayor Viscarra moved, and Commissioner Viscarra seconded a motion to recommend <br />the approval of the Resolution. The motion was adopted by a roll call vote of 4-1 in favor <br />[Commissioner Goldman opposed]. <br /> <br />3C. Add On: <br />Local Planning Agency discussion and/or action re: A Resolution of the City Commission of the <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Urging the City Commission to Amend the Town Center Zoning <br />Code to Conform with the Density and Intensity in the Adopted Comprehensive Plan for <br />the Town Center District, Which was Originally Established Under the 2000 <br />Comprehensive Plan; Directing the City Manager or Designee to Develop a Plan of Action to <br />Remedy the Problems with the Existing Buildings Located on the South Side of Sunny Isles <br />Blvd., Provided that Such Plan Does not Require an Increase of Density and Intensity in Areas <br />Outside of the South Side of Sunny Isles Blvd; Requiring Compliance with the Comprehensive <br />Plan for any Development Approvals; Providing for Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Mauricio Betancur read the title, and Commissioner Goldman reported. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: Crush, Courtney; Galinos, John; Grossman, Greg; Edelcup, Norman; Ward, <br />Cecilia. <br /> <br />Commissioner Goldman moved to recommend to the City Commission the adoption of the <br />Resolution. Having received no second, the motion failed. <br /> <br />4.
