<br />1.8 Compliance with Laws
<br />1.8.1 Contractor and the Services must comply with all applicable federal, state, and
<br />local laws, codes, ordinances, rules, and regulations including, without limitation, the
<br />American with Disabilities Act (ADA), 42 U.S.C. § 12101, Section 504 ofthe Rehabilitation
<br />Act of 1973, and any related federal, state, or local laws, rules, and regulations.
<br />1.8.2 ADA Compliance
<br />Upon request, Contractor will provide the City with any accessibility testing results and
<br />written documentation verifying accessibility for documents delivered by the Contractor
<br />to the City, as well as promptly respond to and resolve accessibility complaints.
<br />1.9 Electronic Recordkeeping
<br />1.9.1 Contractor certifies its services and products meet all recordkeeping
<br />requirements of the State of Florida, including but not limited to those in Chapter 119,
<br />Florida Statutes, and Rule 1B -26.003(6)(g), Florida Administrative Code.
<br />ARTICLE II
<br />THE WORK
<br />2.1 The term "Work" shall mean whatever is done by or required of the Contractor
<br />to perform and complete its duties under this Contract, including the following: construction
<br />of the whole or a designated part of the Project; furnishing of any required surety bonds and
<br />insurance; and the provision or furnishing of labor, administration, management,
<br />supervision, testing, services, materials, supplies, equipment, fixtures, appliances, facilities,
<br />tools, transportation, storage, power, maintenance of traffic, permits, and licenses required
<br />of the Contractor, including all items listed above and all appurtenant work, complete, tested,
<br />and ready for operation, including fuel, heat, light, cooling, and all other utilities, including
<br />temporary utilities and facilities as required by this Contract. The Work to be performed by
<br />the Contractor is generally described as follows:
<br />The Work to be performed under this Contract is the construction of a meditation garden at
<br />the Town Center Park, located at 17200 Collins Avenue, as more particularly described in
<br />the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to construct the garden and sculptures (contractor to provide bases, sculptures
<br />provided by others) in accordance with the specifications herein and the Contract
<br />Documents. Two significant sculptures shall be added as part of the project and the existing
<br />building will undergo improvements as part of the Project. Access shall be provided along
<br />the north property line of the park from Collins Avenue. Contractor shall provide temporary
<br />fencing and use plywood sheets to protect the existing sidewalk.
