Aguirre 8 Associates, P.A. in collaboration with Leo A. Doty were <br />commissioned by the City of Miami to provide the Mechanical /Electrical Engineering <br />Services including Fie Protection services towards the design of the new stadium site <br />poring structure that wil house the future games of the Fonda Martin baseball <br />team. <br />The new Stadium Site Parking infrastructure and surface lots are situated within the <br />firnits of the fomgily occupied Orange Bowl Stadium which is bound by NW 7th <br />Street to the north. NW 3rd Street to the south, NW 17th Avenue to the west and NW <br />14th Avenue. Our firm provided the master plans towards the design and <br />construction of four (4) mulfNevel parking vehicle structures (Pl. P2. P3 and P4) and <br />six (6) parking lot surfaces located within the east and west of the parking site. The <br />parsing garages and parking lot surfaces contain on approximate total of 5,716 <br />vehicle parking spaces Including ADA accessible palling spaces that also included <br />parking spaces for future residential facing. <br />In addition to the parking garage structures, an approximate 63,950 sf of retail space <br />(infrastructure only) is located within the ground floors of three (3) of the parking <br />garages. The sir (6) paved and lighted parking surfaces (WI. W2, W3, El, E2 and E3) <br />contains an approximate 862 parking spaces located within various city owned <br />parcels along the east and west sides of the parking site. The mixed-use garages me <br />designed to provide a transition of scale from the close vicinity neighborhood (to the <br />South) to the ba 1park (to the North). <br />Each parking structure features one Central Lighting Control System, secured from <br />unauthorized use or tampering. The Lighting Control utilizes natural fighting inside the <br />garage and along its perimeter for daylight harvesting purposes by use of <br />photocells. Sustainob3ty, was the nature of the project therefore. LEER® design <br />process and initiative was approached for the entire project. The Martino Ballpark <br />was comnssioned and finished in March 2012. The fast game was played in April of <br />2012. <br />Our firm will be providing the required schematic design plom, master site plans, <br />schedules, calculations, construction documents and construction supervision for <br />the electrical and mechanical systems in compliance with ail the Miami -Dade <br />County and Florida Building Codes and Standards in place. Mechanical Systems <br />include Heating Ventilation, HVAC. Plumbing and Fire Protection.
