He has received numerous honors and awards for his <br />professional design work as well as his civic involvement within the community. <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />Margaret Pace Park, Miami, Florida - Principal in Charge. B &A provided the programming, <br />master planning, schematic design, design development and construction documentation <br />for this 8.25 acre, regional urban park on the City of Miami s waterfront. The overall park plan <br />includes four tennis courts, two soccer fields, one cricket pitch, tot lot and children's playground, <br />exercise stations, street and water oriented urban plazas, waterfront promenade, shoreline <br />stabilization, picnic shelters, site furniture, security lighting and landscape improvements. The <br />incorporation of locally inspired public art provides the park it's own identity and sense of place <br />in the community. <br />Master of City Planning, <br />Morgan Levy Park & Community Center Design /Build, Doral, Florida - Principal in Charge. Design <br />University of Pennsylvania. 1975 <br />for the renovation of this 14 -ocre Park. In designing the renovations, an active and passive <br />Bachelor of Architecture. <br />community center was developed, working within the confines of the existing site layout which <br />University of Florida, 1973 <br />included tennis courts, a recreation building and a parking lot. <br />REGISTRATION <br />Pinecrest Community Center Master Plan, Village of Pinecrest, Florida - Principal in Charge. B &A <br />Registered Architect <br />was selected to evaluate and Master Plan the existing Pinecrest Community Center. The existing <br />State of Florida. 1974 <br />facility and 14,600 SF Community Center Building are approximately 51h years old and well used <br />Reg. No. AR 0007200 <br />by local residents. However, budgetary constraints at the time of design and a compromised <br />planning stage has resulted in a facility now considered outgrown and undersized to serve <br />PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS <br />the needs of the Community. B &A evaluated the existing Community Center Building and <br />American Institute of Architects <br />surrounding facilities as well as currently offered programs and activities. In addition, BS.A lead <br />American Institute of Certified <br />a public outreach effort on behalf of the Village which included hosting three charreffe -style <br />Planners <br />Community Meetings, surveying residents and collecting public input. B &A developed a Master <br />Plan suitable for implementation over extended phases as funding is allocated and /or the need <br />for additional programming increases. The proposed Master Plan projects the physical growth <br />of the Community Center Building over three phases to a total of size of 31,500 SF. <br />Miami Springs Aquatic Facility, Florida - Principal in Charge. B &A is currently in the process of <br />developing a design criteria package for a new aquatic facility. Services include assiting <br />in the preparation of plan components and supervision of the design /build project, <br />construction supervision and community involvement. <br />Aventura Community Center, Aventura, Florida - Principal in Charge. B &A envisioned the <br />project to act as the heart of the city's public /civic destination. The scope included <br />preparing a master plan within a 3.2 acre waterfront site, and provided full design and <br />documentation including architectural interior design, landscape architecture and civil <br />engineering services. The building is divided into athletic, educational, and administrative <br />rooms and gathering spaces, organized by a linear gallery space with functional rooms on <br />one side and glass on the other, emphasizing the view to the park and water. An 8.800 SF <br />gymnasium with a 150 person seating capacity anchors the gallery and all multi - purpose <br />rooms.
