<br />Athalie Range Park Pool Facility Improvements, Miami, Florida - Principal in Charge - A/E services for the development of construction
<br />documents, bid /negotiations and construction administration. The project scope included the remodeling of the existing pool facility,
<br />including office, bathrooms, pool and pool equipment.
<br />SaNadore Park and Tennis Center Improvements, Coral Gables, Florida - Principal in Charge. B &A provided programming, park master
<br />planning, schematic design and construction documentation for this tennis center and public park located in Coral Gables, Florida.
<br />The facility has 13 tennis courts including eight clay courts and five hard /asphalt courts and a tennis center that houses restrooms,
<br />showers and a tennis pro-shop. In addition, the park features a picnic pavilion, playground, tot lot, picnic area and sheet fumiture.
<br />Miami Entertainment Complex, Miami, Florida - Principal in Charge - B &A framed and authored the Design Criteria Package used by
<br />the Owner (Miami CRA) to solicit and advertise for proposals from Design -Build teams. The resulting B &A Design Criteria Standards
<br />Manual outlined a suitable design solution for the Owner's program as well as the requirements for a facility that fulfilled the intended
<br />User's and industry expectations. The Design Criteria Package also served to identify and address early in the pre -design process
<br />critical project development concerns related to regulatory and permitting agency restrictions, community stakeholder interests, and
<br />the vetting of cost - effective and practicable design solutions.
<br />Miami -Dade Water And Sewer Department Headquarters Facility, Miami, Florida - Principal in Charge. B &A served as Design Criteria
<br />Professional for the $30 million headquarters facility comprised of a -5 story office building and a 10 -story parking garage.

<br />2011 Coral Gables Community Foundation named its annual Legacy Award in honor of Willy A. Bermello.
<br />2003 Mr. Bermello received the Alumni Hall of Fame Award from Miami -Dade College.
<br />2000 Mr. Bermello was recognized with the Humanitarian Award from the American Jewish Committee.
<br />1997 Mr. Bermello was recognized with award of the Civil Rights Advocacy Award at the Civil Rights Conference, Tampa, Florida.
<br />1992 Mr. Bermello became the first Hispanic and the first Republican to Chair the Florida Commission on Human Relations.
<br />1992 Mr. Bermello was elected as the Founding President of the Coral Gables Community Foundation.
<br />1988 Mr. Bermello became the first Cuban American to be elected President of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
<br />1987 Mr. Bermello founded the Miracle Mile rest. a project of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
<br />1984 Mr. Bermello spearheaded a 5 -year effort which culminated in the creation of the Latin Quarter District. Subsequently was
<br />appointed by the City Commission to serve on the Review Board and twice elected Chairman by the Board members.
<br />1977 Mr. Bermello co- founded the Calle Ocho Festival and served as its chairman for two years.
