Our staff of
professional utility locators, surveyors and utility
- coordinator has
the expertise
•A— trequire to deliv-
_ -- eyed accurate
-- Iutilily infor-
mation needed by clients, engineers, contractors
and designers to make informed project decision.
HADONNE utilizes the latest state -of -the -art vacu-
um excavation
land survey
data collection
technology to
obtain the
exact horizontal and vertical location of existing
utilities in conflict with proposed infrastructure
To better match subsurface utility engineering ser-
vices to the needs of a particular project, the Amen -
can Society of Civil Engineers produced accepted
guidelines for the collection and depiction of existing
subsurface utility data (ASCE 38 -02). In this report,
the ACE set
forth four levels
of quality per-
taining to the
StJi1 methods, inter-
pretation and precision of subsurface utility data
collected. These Quality Levels serve as a guide for
engineers to detemune the level of detail they re-
quire to reap the most benefit from subsurface utility
engineering services. HADONNE offers services at
all four quality levels. Our services can be tailored to
you project needs, budget and schedule based on
these guidelines.
Quality Level A - Utility Designating and
Locating: This service is typically performed
during the design and construction phases. Precise
horizontal and vertical location of utilities obtained
by precise measurements of exposed structures at
given points. The results surveyed and can be
mapped onto plan documents. This is the most
precise level of service, offering the most Complete,
reliable data available.
Quality Level B - Utility Designating: This
service is recommended during early design
stages and in areas where uulity records are gener-
_ , • ally unavailable of
- -t reliable. Subsurface
utility data is obtained
• .. through geophysical
methods to identify the existence and approximate
horizontal position of the structures.
Quality Level C - Visible Utility Features: This
service is recommended during project plan-
ning stages to aid site layout decisions. Approximate
utility locations are estimated using surveys and
plots of visible above ground utility features. These
observations are correlated to existing utility rec-
ords.
Quality Level D - Utility Records Review:
This service is recommended for feasibility
studies during the pre-design stage to help identify
potential costly utility relocations. Information on
subsurface utility structures is based solely on a
thorough records research and review.
Ground Penetrating Radar - Recognized as
one of the most powerful remote sensing
instruments available, ground penetrating radar
(GPR) is a safe, non - invasive geophysical invesNa-
lion method for 'looking' underground to image
subsurface features. GPR detects metallic and non-
metallic, natural and man -made underground fea-
tures, including: utilities, storage tanks, rebar, water
tables. H.ADONNE's survey crews are trained in the
use and operation of the latest GPR data collection
equipment and technology.
Geographic Information Systems - GIS is a
computer -based system capable of assem-
bling, stomp, manipulating, analyzing, managing
and displaying both spatial (geographic or land
referenced) and non - spatial (tune referenced) infor-
mation. HADONNE's GIS consultants are highly
experience in data integration and evaluation, and
providing costeliecuve, highly accurate GIS solu
firms to meet data management needs.
'21(305)2664188 ®www.hadonne.com OIHADONNE
