Principal <br />f <br />Mr. Ignacio Serralta has over twenty -three years of experience in <br />civil engineering planning, design and management for a wide <br />range of public works, site development and infrastructure <br />projects. He has been responsible for the design of roadway <br />improvements, storm drainage systems, water and sanitary <br />sewers transmission pipelines, as well as reservoirs and pump <br />stations. He is familiar with the many facets of public and private <br />project management and has served as Project Manager /Engineer <br />on many projects. Mr. Serralta will head the team on this project <br />and be responsible for all facets of the operation. <br />PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE <br />Mr. Ignacio Serralta's major recent responsibilities include: <br />• FEMA /DORM Restoration Project, Various Sites, Miami -Dade County, Florida <br />Program Manager from November 2001 through December 2005. The project was a jointly <br />funded effort supported by the Federal Government, the State of Florida and Miami -Dade <br />County and was intended to mitigate problems that arose as a result of Hurricane Irene <br />(October 1999) and the "No Name Storm" (October 2000). As Master Consultant, we <br />oversaw the construction efforts of nine contractors performing work with an estimated <br />construction value of $35,000,000.00. Additionally, we were responsible for the coordination <br />of approximately 12 engineering design consultants, 8 geotechnical firms and 9 land <br />surveying firms involved in the design of approximately 490 mitigation projects. These <br />projects ranged from drainage improvements to total roadway reconstruction, canal <br />dredging, culvert cleaning and canal bank restoration. Finally, we were responsible for all <br />document control related to these projects, approval of payment for design, survey, <br />geotechnical reports and construction in accordance with FEMA required guidelines. <br />• MDWASD Pump Stations Upgrades, Multiple Locations, Miami -Dade, Florida <br />Principal In- Charge for the engineering design and preparation of construction documents <br />(Plans and Specifications) for the construction of upgrades to existing Pump Stations. <br />Upgrades included new pumping units, new electrical control panels, new electrical services, <br />new telemetry systems, replacement of PS piping, new valve vaults and fittings, new wet <br />wells, demolition of existing pump stations, and associated site improvements. Services also <br />included plans processing and permitting; and bid phase services. <br />• Principal -in- Charge responsible for overseeing the design, preparation of construction <br />documents, plans permitting, and pre- construction phase support services to the City of <br />Hialeah for the construction of NW 138`h Street between I -75 and N.W. 107" Avenue. The <br />total length of project was approximately 7,200 linear feet and consisted of a 130' wide, 6- <br />lane roadway with center median and new 70' wide canal. <br />• Principal -in- Charge responsible for overseeing the design, preparation of construction <br />documents, plan permitting, and pre- construction phase support services to the City of <br />Hialeah for the construction W. 36`h Avenue between N.W. 138`h Street and N.W. 154`h <br />Street.
