Jean - Claude Fontaneau <br />Project Manager <br />_ mss. <br />Mr. Jean - Claude Fontaneau has over 17 years of experience in civil <br />engineering design. He has been in charge of the planning and design of <br />a variety of municipal and site development projects. Mr. Fontaneau is <br />primarily responsible for the engineering design and preparation of plans <br />and specifications including the design of roadway improvements, storm <br />drainage systems, water and sanitary sewer pipelines, pump stations <br />and site development projects. <br />PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE <br />Mr. Jean - Claude Fontaneau's major recent responsibilities include: <br />Roadway Design <br />• Project Engineer responsible for overseeing the design, preparation of construction documents, <br />plan permitting, and pre- construction phase support services to the City of Hialeah for the <br />construction W. 36th Avenue between N.W. 138th Street and N.W. 154th Street. The total length <br />' of project was approximately 5,400 linear feet and consisted of a 100' wide, 4 -lane roadway with <br />center median. The Project tasks included meeting with City of Hialeah staff and local regulatory <br />agencies to establish design guidelines, conduct a utility search and identification of existing <br />utilities and traffic controls, and review roadway design standards; designed and preparation of <br />' construction documents for the project that included the preparation of summary of quantities, <br />roadway plan and profiles, roadway drainage, signage and marking plans, roadway lighting, MOT <br />plan, specifications, and engineer's estimate of probable construction cost. Other responsibilities <br />1 included coordinating all topographical surveys and geotechnical investigations, and all <br />environmental studies including wetland mitigation reports and preparation of ERP permit. <br />Permitting included all applicable regulatory agencies including City of Hialeah, SFWMD, COE, <br />DERM, and MDPWD. <br />• Design Engineer responsible for the design, preparation of construction documents, plans <br />permitting, and provide pre- construction phase support services to the City of Hialeah for the <br />' construction of W. 36th Avenue (N.W. 97th Ave) between W. 84th Street (N.W. 138th Street) to <br />W. 76th Street. The total length of project was approximately 2,600 linear feet. The new <br />roadway requirements included a minimum of 100' wide roadway with center median. <br />• Design Engineer responsible for the engineering design work for Miami -Dade County Public <br />Works Department for the widening of Miller Drive between SW 152nd Avenue and SW 158th <br />Avenue (3,250 LF). <br />1 Design Engineer responsible for the engineering design work for the reconstruction of several <br />existing local roadways within the City of Hialeah. The total length of the projects was <br />approximately 26 miles of roadways. <br />' Water and Sewer Installations <br />' • City of Hialeah, Annexation Area — Water and Sewer Master Plan including design of 24" force <br />main and 36" water main extensions. <br />City of Hialeah, Annexation Area — Design of 36" Transmission Water Main and 16" Distribution <br />Water Main along NW 97 `" Avenue to serve the Annexation Area. <br />
