r' <br />L' <br />r'] <br />L <br />Ir1I <br />LJ <br />West 44`" Street <br />Project Description <br />This project consisted of drainage improvement along West 44th Street in Miami Beach from <br />Biscayne Bay to Royal Palm Avenue. Although the area of improvement was relatively small <br />the area directly benefiting from the proposed improvements is bounded by West 47 Street to the <br />North, Sheridan Avenue to the East, West 43rd Street to the South and Biscayne Bay to the West. <br />The project included reconstruction of West 44th Street and included construction of new valley <br />gutters to efficiently convey stormwater to the designed stormwater management system. A new <br />stormwater outfall and control structure was designed to comply with the necessary <br />environmental regulations for discharging stormwater into Biscayne Bay.
