(ADDITIONAL SHEETS OF PAPER MAY BE USED TO INCLUDE <br />INFORMATION). <br />The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Ans is a multi -use entertainment facility located on the east and west sides of Biscayne <br />Boulevard between NE 13 Street and NE 14 Street in Downtown Miami. Florida. The site's boundaries are North Bayshore Drive on the <br />east. NE 13 Street on the south. NE 2 Avenue on the west. and NE 14 Street on the north. The center includes three state -of- the -art <br />theaters.an educational center, an expansive outdoor plaza and a 1929 Art Deco tower. The three theaters consist of the 2.400 -seat Sanford <br />and Dolores Ziff Opera House located on the west side of Biscayne Boulevard, the 2.200 -seat Knight Concert Hall located on the east side <br />of Biscayne Boulevard and the 200 -seat Studio Theater located adjacent to the Opera House. The Peacock Education Center consists of <br />8.200 square feet of workshops and classrooms and is located within the Concert Hall. Plaza of the Arts is a 57,000 square foot outdoor <br />plaza connecting the Opera House and the Concert Hall across Biscayne Boulevard. The plaza will is used for outdoor entertainment. <br />social celebrations and informal community gatherings. The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts complex is owned by Miami - <br />Dade County and the Performing Arts Center (PAC) Trust, a non -profit corporation, is responsible for the administration and operation of <br />the Center as required by the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts Development Order (DO) of the Major Use Special Permit <br />(MUSP) adopted by the city of Miami. David Plummer & Associates (DPA) developed a traffic control management plan to address <br />pedestrian and vehicular traffic Flow to properly and safely host the major events at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. <br />The plan is used by the Center during all major events. Due to the lack of on -site parking, the plan also identified sufficient secured off - <br />site parking spaces within a reasonable walking distance of the site. The ingress and egress patterns for accessing the Adrienne Arsht <br />Center for the Performing Arts proposed parking areas and valet/drop -off /pick -up areas were developed as part of the Traffic Management <br />Plan (TMP). Major access routes to the site were identified as SR 836 from the west. 1 -395 from the east, and Biscayne Boulevard from <br />the north and south.
